Woodside Cottage Exmoor National Park

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway located on a bridleway in Hawkcombe Woods within Exmoor National Park - with hundreds of miles of walks literally on your doorstep. The cottage is about 1.5km from the South West Coast path - an easy detour. If you want to unwind at the end of the day, Porlock - with its fantastic pubs, tea-rooms and restaurants - is a short and easy walk away. Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

With a log burner and a bedroom with exposed beams offering views over Dunkery hill, you might never want to leave the house! Freshly renovated and located in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Snug is an ideal location for those who are planning on spending the majority of their time in the great outdoors. The Snug is stumbling distance (30m) away from good food at our local pub The Lion Inn.

A lovely cosy hideaway, with direct access to Exmoor, the Doone Valley and beyond! The cottage has many original features, including a wood-burner and rustic beams - and maintains its character (refurbished in 2020). Parsonage Farm Cottage is completely separate from the main house, with its own garden, incredible views and peace and quiet, with Oare Water running along the bottom of the property. Just a short drive to the lovely villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, & Porlock.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nestled on the edge of our family small holding on Exmoor with a herd of Red Devon cows, horses, chickens, sheep and dogs. Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy this area of outstanding beauty this is the place to be.
