La Bita is a lovely typical cottage that overlooks Unesco's Heritage Orcia Valley. The studio flat is part of "Podere Maltaia", a property of 12 independent cottages (each with a private garden and entrance). It's located in the countryside of the medieval hamlet of Radicofani. It is surrounded by 3 hectares of private land including an outdoor swimming pool (opened seasonally Jun-Sep), garden, outdoor dining area, BBQ and free parking area (uncovered). This is the perfect getaway for those wanting a private retreat from which to explore the rich wine, food, culture, history, and landscape of southern Tuscany.

The accommodation consists of a small stone house on two levels with an outdoor stone patio and is located on the top of a hill completely covered with woods. A short private white road ( 500m) leads from the paved road to the house. The building was designed by the owner, who is an architect, and is built according to the most recent anti-seismic regulations and according to the principles of bio-architecture. The house is actually a near zero energy building (Nzeb).

Ideal for a relaxing holiday but really close to the village and only few km from historical towns, thermal baths, typical villages (Orvieto, Todi, Viterbo, Bomarzo, Pitigliano, Perugia...). From the village, you can enjoy a stunning view on the valley of Calanchi and the amazing Civita di Bagnoregio. Only 15 minutes car to reach Bolsena lake and Orvieto.
