Cozy, remodeled bungalow near downtown Ferndale

Enjoy a visit to our summer home in Oak Park. It's a 1 mile drive through our historic neighborhood to downtown Ferndale. A 2 bed 1 bath built in 1930 was fully remodeled in 2020, including the addition of AC. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do when we come home to work remotely near family twice yearly. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen; we love to cook! But make sure to take advantage of all the bars and restaurants in Ferndale. If traveling with the pup, there's a large fenced-in yard.

Rock House Detroit w 2 Kings Office Designer HGTV

A “magical getaway”, eye candy”, “a respite”, "the best Airbnb ever". Best porch in Ferndale. Ideal location in gorgeous historic Northwest Ferndale with unique homes and tree-lined sidewalks. Great art and rock n roll/eclectic decor. A few blocks to shop, pick up food, dine at one of our many foodie destinations (1/2 mile/8 min walk). Well curated, modern urban retreat. Close to Woodward and 9 mile. An easy walk to Dwtn Ferndale. It's the coziest 600 sq. Ft 1 bed/1 bath house. Recently renovated with an eye for design and functionality. Ranch style home with a fully stocked kitchen, dedicated desk space, full sized washer & dryer, dining area with seating for 4, Roku TV and pull-out sleeper sofa for 2 guests in the living room, and a serene private backyard. R&R inside or on the deck under the patio lights.

Another Little House on Laprairie

This cozy 1 story, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom bungalow has been recently renovated (2022) with all new appliances and updated finishes. A short walk to downtown Ferndale is where you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, coffee houses and bars. Downtown Detroit is 11 miles away and a quick 15 minute drive. Our home is perfect for couples, small families, business travelers and LGBT travelers. The large fenced backyard is perfect for your house trained dog.
