YELLOWWOODS FARM - The Sheep Shed (self catering)

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods. The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, Boschhoek+Gowrie golf courses, Clifton Notties Prep school and Michaelhouse. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm, so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ and general day-to-day goings on! Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Caracal Lodge @ the Hilton Bush Lodge

Enjoy life in the African bush with the beautiful Hilton Village just minutes away. Located at the Hilton Bush Lodge, bordering the famous Hilton College, Caracal Lodge sits among trees opening to spectacular views of the Rietspruit and Umngeni valleys. Listen closely and you will hear the rush of the Riets Waterfall, even better, take a walk through the bush and enjoy the falls first hand! If you're after something closer to home, wonder a few steps out back and enjoy the lodges pool.

River Cottage

Tuck yourself away in the heart of the Karkloof valley. Feast your eyes on the beautiful view, watching the sunset over the river on your doorstep. Neighbouring some of the best biking trails in the country and home to some beautiful walks and the well-known bird hides and the Karkloof Conservation Centre. Located in Howick Village in the Natal Midlands, close to Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, Berg wihin 40-70 minute drive and Beach approximatley 1 hr's drive. Karkloof Adventures, close by, including excellent Cycle Tracks! Cottage equipped with TV, Internet and wifi. Washing machine available for guest use. 2 Electric blankets available. Third bedroom in upstairs "open space".

eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.

Dam View Villa – Couples Dreamy Karkloof Retreat

This cosy 2-sleeper villa is perfect for a couple offering a comfortable, modern self-catering space. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, indoor fireplace, and a wood-fired pizza oven for relaxed nights in. The unit is nestled along a farm road, and a high-clearance vehicle is recommended for access, however smaller vehicles will also manage.
