Country Barn Conversion - Grounds of Old Corn Mill

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Old Pumping Station Broseley, Ironbridge Gorge

The Old Pumping Station provides a unique industrial look with a holiday cottage feel. Set in an idyllic location between Broseley and Ironbridge. The World famous bridge being less than a mile walk. Originally housed the pumps that supplied the water uphill to the town of Broseley. Some of the original pipework and valves have become a focal point in the conversion. Fully fitted kitchen. Double Bedroom, bathroom. Sofa bed. Dogs friendly property. Private driveway and garden. Air-conditioning.

Bernie’s Cottage

Bernie’s Cottage is located in the High Town on the immediate outskirts of Bridgnorth town centre, perfectly located for an easy five minute walk into town, 10 minutes to The Severn Valley Railway, Castle Walk, park and funicular railway. This quirky 18th century cottage over three floors has been totally refurbished .The two bedrooms include a spacious kingsize on the top floor and a cosy double on the middle floor. The cottage has parking for two cars and a sunny garden with seating.

Willow Cottage

A well equipped and spacious 1 bedroom annexe with a sofa bed in the lounge (suitable for two children but only one adult). Located close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth and Telford. Plenty of walks, National Trust properties and nice pubs in the surrounding area. It has a wet room, fully fitted dining kitchen and lounge. Tea & coffee will be provided. There is a private patio area looking over the garden. If you need anything specific for your stay please let me know. Sorry no dogs.

Hamperley and the Church Stretton area offer some of the best walking and cycling in the country, with breath taking views and numerous places to explore. From castles, cafes and carveries; to hills, horses and hang-gliding there is something for everyone.

Within walking distance of Much Wenlock, this peaceful detached cottage is surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Ideal for walkers & cyclists alike the cottage offers plenty of space for you to relax & unwind. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets in the summer or during the autumn/winter months, the cottage becomes a wonderfully snug hideaway, with the woodburning stove making it the perfect place to curl up after exploring the local area. Patio doors open out on to a lovely south facing terrace and the garden stretches out to views over open fields and beautiful Astley Abbotts village. National cycle routes, public footpaths and the historic towns of Bridgnorth, Ironbridge & Much Wenlock are within easy reach.

The first floor: bathroom with roll top bath, a master room with king sized bed and a second bedroom with twin single beds.

The School House, a charming 200-year old cottage.

Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor but Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.
