Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Good parking and wheelchair ramp for entry also no stairs in house wifi, very quite , nice view over lake and ocean, mountain view, long hill and forest walks. 4 km to Clifden town, 7 km to Letterfrack where is the national park and Dimond Hill, 15 km to Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden. Cycle greenways and lake and sea fishing. P.S. We are sorry,but we do not provide additional mattresses.

With underfloor heating, this warm and inviting, spacious home allows one to relax with a freshly made coffee from our espresso machine and soak in the peaceful Connemara landscape surrounding Roe Island Cottage. It is just outside the village of Letterfrack and steps to the shore. If you wish to get away from the crowds, this is for you. Excellent wifi quality.
