Interior Designed Harbour Home from Home in Seaside Village

The keys features are both its central location in a quaint, beautiful and friendly harbour village which boasts several excellent a restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk, and the standard of the interior designed.accommodation. Living room kitchen contains two designers guild sofas, folding dining table and chairs (one chair often used upstairs to make second bedroom double as a study), all the appliances you would hope for, TV, speaker for your iPod/iphone etc. Guests have use of unlimited wifi, fully equipped kitchen, washer dryer, wardrobe with built in chest of drawers in main bedroom and drawer and hanging system in second bedroom. I am just on the end of the phone if you need anything and have helpful local guys who can come quickly if any emergency were to arise The apartment is in the harbour village of Mousehole. Restaurants and amenities are close by. The village has a post office/general store, boutiques, and galleries. St Ives and the Tate, Minack Theatre, many stunning beaches and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are in the area. Yes. The easiest ways of getting to Mousehole are either train to Penzance or flying to Newquay (or Lands End from Scily Isles). There is also a ferry from Scily Isles to Penzance. If arriving at Penzance by train you can hire a car st the station or take a taxi or bus. Taxi takes 10/15 mins and costa £10-15. Bus takes about 30 mins and runs every 30 mins - it stops about 5 doors away from the apartment when it arrives in Mousehole. If arriving at Newquay airport you can hire a car through Europcar or Hertz at the airport (and there are other car hire companies in Newquay town centre) or you can take a taxi. Journey is 50 mins-1hr 15 mins in general. Bedlinen, towels, two hairdryers plus tea, coffee, salt & pepper etc are provided. The property is right in the middle of a cute Harbourside town which provides for a great base. The eaves of the top floor have been opened up and insulted and sky light fitted in the back bedroom to create a nice light open feel and more space. Sea gulls do walk and rest on the roof so it is best to keep the velux window in the second bedroom closed and open the other window in that room if you want air - if you open the Velux you may have a seagull visiting you or depositing a not very nice present on your head!! I have put wax ear plugs in the guest cupboard in the bathroom (the one immediately over the toilet) - please help yourself to some of these if you think the seagulls' cries will bother you (just please let me know if you use them up so I can buy more!). Home of the Mousehole Cat

Perfect for the young family, couple and friends, EVEN KEEL IS the home of the Mousehole Cat, where the book was written and set. There are lots of books for children here and the beach is perfect for them to play. This cozy little fisherman’s cottage overlooks the harbour with views of the sea. The living room is upstairs & excellent for light and comfort. Literally by the beach on the harbour- this IS your garden and beach. Comfy beds and perfect location for the pub and restaurants nearby.

Free off-road parking & garden suite, Mousehole!

This compact, bright, garden suite is decorated in a simple mid-century style. It has it's own private entrance, with free off road parking. It would suit a couple (or family with 1/2 younger children). Quietly situated above Mousehole, & just a short (5 min) walk down the steep hill to the stunning village & amazing little harbour, where there are great restaurants, an old pub, deli & galleries. Fab swimming & coastal walks are close by. Its perfect for a romantic break or a family getaway.

Romantic Bolthole for Two. Charming Bijou Cottage.

We have lovingly restored this one bedroom cottage from its previous life as a Fisherman's cottage to offer a perfect romantic retreat for two. When Dylan Thomas honeymooned in Mousehole he called it ''the loveliest village in England''. The Cottage is cute, cosy and comfortable - ideally situated just a few minutes walk to the Harbour. Perfect for a lazy Spring or Summer break or curl up by the wood burner during cooler months. And with all the little extras to make your stay truly memorable

Stylish cosy cottage in Mousehole close to harbour

The Courtyard is a stylish hideaway for two, moments from Mousehole’s beautiful harbour. This completely renovated former fisherman’s cottage has been stunningly furnished with a mix of modern and vintage finds and a few antique treasures. The subtle muted decor creates a relaxed atmosphere whilst throughout the focus is firmly on understated luxury. Outside the pretty plant-filled courtyard is the perfect place for a morning coffee or for a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down.

Creel Cottage, a cosy coastal Cornish delight

This Grade II listed former net loft is a charming retreat, tucked away yet just 30 steps from the harbour. Mousehole Lookout

If you are looking for stunning sea views close to a beautiful harbour and village, then this is the place for you. This lovely apartment has a spacious living room with dining area, kitchen, bathroom and utility room . It has beautiful uninterrupted sea views from the bedroom, living room and private terrace and is only five minutes walk from the village , harbour and beach. On the private patio with seating where you can relax and enjoy the sea views. Also with off road parking.

The Market House, a Fisherman's Cottage

Market House was originally a traditional fisherman's stone cottage. Situated in the folds of Mousehole, where you are confronted with mind-melting views and great hauls of art, coastal scenes along the SWC path, surfing beaches around the western tip and a cook's paradise with sincere saltwater offerings. The cottage is ideally located to discover Cornwall or simply unwind in the tranquillity of the village. A leisurely 2 minute walk from the scenic harbour, local shops and cafes.

Luxurious retreat hidden inside a Cornish cottage

Scandinavian styled luxury retreat tucked away in a beautiful Cornish cottage just two minutes walk from the beach and harbour. Relax in a king size four poster bed, with award winning Emma mattress before wiling away the hours in the deep Lusso Stone bath. Snuggle up on the large velvet sofa in front of the wood burning stove after cooking a delicious meal in the bespoke oak finished kitchen. Other highlights include a secluded courtyard, fibre broadband and a designer shower room.

The Loft House - a beautiful 3 storey cottage

The Loft House is an inviting and uniquely renovated Fisherman’s cottage for four, moments from Mousehole’s beautiful harbour. The cottage is set over three floors and features beautiful original features, alongside contemporary finishes. A cosy fireplace, private courtyard and beamed ceilings alongside a pretty plant-filled courtyard - the perfect place for a morning coffee or BBQ, or relax on the private sun terrace with a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down.

"mOlly mUppeT" of Mousehole!

Best described by previous guests; Fall straight into Cornish time with lazy mornings, long days and joyful returns. mOlly mUppeT is hidden amongst the houses behind the owners cottage and she soon becomes a real home and a stunning place from which to explore. So very cute in every way, the attention to detail is second to none. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, whilst the garden was a little piece of heaven. A memorable base for a memorable holiday!
