Welcome to The Barn - a stunning conversion of our historic dairy barn. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

Amongst the trees, the cabin is in earshot of the seashore with views from inside and outside of the ever-changing tides and hills beyond. Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

Our bright and airy 2-bedroom chalet (one double, one bunk bed) bungalow has direct access to the beach, a wood burning stove, refurbished shower bathroom and free parking. The chalet has open plan sociable kitchen/diner/living area overlooking Blue Anchor beach at the front and glimpses of the West Somerset steam Railway to the rear. Bedding, towels, electric and WIFI included. Perfect for couples and families wishing to relax, recharge or explore! No pets or smokers thank you.

1 Coastguard Cottages is one of a terrace of five Grade 2 listed houses built in 1877 for the Admiralty. It is situated on the edge of Minehead bay with panoramic views over the Bristol Channel to the islands of Steepholm and Flatholm and the Welsh coastline. It is just steps from the start of the South West Coast Path and a perfect location for a family holiday. Walks from the front door give quick access to the Exmoor National Park on North Hill.

Steam Railway Shepherd’s Hut, Somerset

The Railway Hut is a self-contained shepherd’s hut for two, with luxuriously comfortable double bed with all seasons duvet. En-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Kitchenette with all the basics ready for your arrival. For the chilly winter evenings you’ll find a cosy log burner laid and ready to light.
