We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

Lovely place to stay for a short getaway with our friends and our two toddlers. Beautifully clean with a great sized living space, and easy to get to local attractions. Thanks!

We had a fantastic time at Michelle’s lodge, it was very relaxing. Beautiful views, lovely walks and the sun hit the front balcony most of the day. The hot tub was amazing, very peaceful and the onsite restaurant/pub is only a stones throw away. Highly recommend King William restaurant, it is a car drive or an hour walk but really lovely. We had a lovely 4-night stay at Teapot Cottage over Easter 2025. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family of five needed. The location was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a highlight—clean and ready to enjoy on arrival which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Inside, everything was well-equipped, from the kitchen to the cosy living areas. Communication from the host, Lammisa, was excellent throughout. Clear instructions were provided, and she was quick to respond to any questions. We’d happily recommend this place to others and would definitely return for another family getaway. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Absolutely perfect! We love staying here, it has everything you need to feel immediately at home, relaxed and comfortable. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the views from the hot tub are what makes staying here even more special! Catherine and Ian are very attentive hosts and Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had. We love this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, relaxing and very special place to stay in the Lake District.

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place in Kendal. When we arrived, we were met by Steve who gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the accommodation and facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and really well looked after, with everything we needed for our stay. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us with crisps, chocolates, biscuits, and all the essentials like milk, tea, and coffee – such a nice touch. We also really appreciated the unperfumed soap, shampoo, and shower cream that were provided – perfect for anyone with sensitive skin. All in all, a really comfortable and homely place to stay. Would definitely book again
