Great stay - unfortunately due to adverse weather we had to leave early and did not get to try the breakfast. Very welcoming host.

Our stay with Evelyn was lovely warm and very pleasant. The place is located just by the greenway which was very handy! House has its character and charm and is beautiful. We were looked after all the time but also had our privacy. We would come back here with pleasure.

My friend and I really enjoyed our overnight stay. The room provided what was needed, the bathroom was clean and well stocked, hot shower, good towels. Our host chatted with us at breakfast, which had a good choice of cereal, yoghurt and fruits, lovely breads and jams. This place is hard to beat, the location is fantastic. The village pub served super dinners and scrumptious lunches. Beaches nearby are walkable, as is the village, weather dependent obviously.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, bright, spacious spotlessly clean room with ensuite and a delicious full irish breakfast (or plenty of other options) friendly hosts. Would definitively stay again.

This does exactly what it says on the tin plus a little more. Breakfast was really good, with a nice fruit medley thrown in. Immediately across the road from the house is a car-free running/cycleway that leads for about 2 miles in towards the town of Clifden. For a runner like me that really set this place apart cos running with cars on Irish country roads is scary otherwise.

Breakfast was delicious. We walked to town. Hosts were always available and ready to help. It was a fun place to stay!

We loved Ann's place so much. She was very welcoming and cooperative from the beginning. Her home and surroundings with the beautiful garden absolutely amazed us. Perfect stay to explore Connemara. We will back again, thanks Ann for everything.

Great location for doing all around mayo. Great shower aswell, always a plus!

Thanks to the great house lady the house has a special aura. The area is beautiful. We could make trips to Galway and Connemara. The stay in the beautiful house of Christine was a special experience. Thank you very much for your great kindness and hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at The Bay View! Imelda was a wonderful communicator and the many 5 star reviews are well-deserved. The house was spotless and the room was well-appointed and very cute, with a great vibe and everything we needed. The breakfast room was very well laid out and stocked, and there was a refrigerator for us in case we brought some items, which we did. She had a good assortment of coffee, teas, French press, machines, and also plenty of breakfast items, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and bread, and more. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The location was perfect as well with a big car park, and easily walkable to the restaurant near by.

Hostess was fantastic when there was an issue with Air B&B NOT having the correct mapping location or directions. We tried for an hour and a half to find the house. Many helpful and friendly locals. When we got there Noreen was SO welcoming to us. She offered her knowledge and resources to locate supper for us. Even going so far as to drive us there. Superb breakfast the following morning.

Cafferkey's achieved my main objective - a comfortable place to stay. Describing it under the heading "Westport" is rather misleading.

Had a great long weekend stay at Pat’s home. The location is perfect for walking to all of Clifden’s restaurants and bars, yet still quiet and serene. Clifden itself served as a great base for exploring the coast, parks, and manor houses throughout the region. Our room (the tower) was clean and comfortable. Great bed and well-appointed. The bathroom (for our exclusive use) was downstairs and is not pictured in the listing. Very clean, although a bit small. The common area of the house was larger and more comfortable than anticipated, and the outdoor area is well-cared for and interesting with the water feature bordering the property. Highly recommend a weekend with the very friendly Pat in the very friendly town of Clifden!

The place is very beautiful; interiors designed carefully with pieces of art and design- classic furniture. Noelle and David are warm and generous; always at hand a great resource to help you with recommendations for things to do around the county. The cooked breakfast is not to be missed; David is an excellent chef and Noelle’s homemade bread is wonderful.
