Folks love our place for the real homemade charm of the cabin, mountain views and garden setting. It is perfect for couples or a single traveler seeking minimalist simplicity. Doggies welcome too! Un-plug from the complexities of modern life while enjoying proximity to major sights, a galaxy of stars overnight and a sunrise view of dew on the gardens.

Welcome to WNC! Our Mountain Cabin is on 10 Acres of 5 generation Farm Land! Interstate I-26 is only 5 min. away! There are many nearby Towns: Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, Marshall, Hot Springs & More! Seasonal Fun is Near: Snow Tubing, Snow Skiing, Hiking, Fishing, Golfing, Biking & more! You might even see deer & turkey during your visit!!! **We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance, we cannot refund you if you have travel interruptions before or during your trip.

Snowbird treehouse

A 10ftx10ft treehouse built around a hickory tree with a wood deck. It looks over a creek 30 feet below. There are electric switches/outlets and fan/oil heater. Climb a ladder to the sleeping loft with a standard full size bed. The loft has a peak high enough to stand up under. Cook outside on gas grill. No running water but there's a drinking water dispenser. The bathroom is a composting toilet and outdoor shower with solar tank at the end of a 25ft path, adjacent to the treehouse.

Come stay with us in beautiful Appalachia! Annie is our renovated 1977 Airstream Argosy. She has traveled the US, but has officially retired & ready for more memories! Early-risers grab your coffee & enjoy the breathtaking sunrise rising behind the mountains, hang with our goats, sheep, ducks & chickens or relax in the hammock under the willows. At night have a fire, make s’mores & gaze at the stars! We are 12 minutes from downtown Marshall, 30 minutes from Asheville & Hot Springs!
