The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. You’ll think you are in the country when you arrive at our peaceful 10 acre property right in Muncie. Located near our historic home, built in 1848, you’ll find a carriage house with an upstairs apartment with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is a quaint, rustic cabin like space with private outdoor area. You are only five to 10 minutes from BSU and IU Ball Hospital, downtown, Elm Street Brewing, the Children’s Museum, walking trails and most restaurants.

Registered historic home, heart of Muncie

Historic neighborhood. One block to BSU Village and less than 1 mile to downtown; Ball Memorial Hospital just few blocks down the same street. Registered historic property; truly walking distance to BSU for those visitors who don’t want to drive. Off-street parking is in the back alley. We kindly ask guests to be considerate to neighbors. Keep in mind, this house is near a college campus, and during graduation and sports events students/neighbors may be celebrating outside.

The Garden Cottage at The English Rose is a beautiful, clean, spacious, light and airy 750 sqft , 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. This renovated carriage house is adjacent to our 1903 Queen Anne Victorian and is a registered historical landmark of Kokomo, Indiana. The garden cottage gets it’s name by being surrounded by beautiful lush perennial gardens. Only registered guests allowed. Small, well trained, apartment dogs under 12lbs allowed.

Guests have access to the full house with an open floor plan and comfortable living space. Built in 1957, this ranch-style charmer is tucked into a tree-lined neighborhood on the northwest side of Kokomo. With a one-car detached garage, a lovely open layout, and a fantastic front porch, you'll feel right at home here. There's space for up to five or six people spread across three bedrooms, plus the lightning-fast wifi makes it easy to get some work or schooling done.
