Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With its raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Fully stocked and family-friendly, it’s perfect for couples, friends, or families looking to relax, recharge, and explore Parke County. Walker Getaway is where modern comfort meets Indiana’s natural beauty.

Cozy lakefront A-frame Cabin

The Tinkers Cabin is nestled in the heart of Parke County, known for its covered bridges and Turkey Run State Park. It features a lakefront view and direct access to Raccoon Lake, complete with a 30-foot seawall. We love swimming and boating in the summer, enjoying fall colors, and exploring the lakebed in the winter when the water is drained for capacity. In the evenings, you can gather around an outdoor bonfire or stream your favorite movies with free Wi-Fi and smart TV in this cozy cabin.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

The Cozy Canary

The Cozy Canary is the perfect getaway, located in Parke County “Covered Bridge Capital of the World”. Just a 3-min walk to Raccoon Lake. 1st floor features 1 bdrm, full bath, living rm, game area & outdoor deck. Lower-level features 1 bdrm w/full bath, kitchen, washer/dryer, add’l queen bed w/privacy curtain, screened in porch, outdoor fire pit. Hideaway Hollow

This is a fully furnished picturesque Amish-built cabin in beautiful and secluded Parke County, Indiana. The cabin comes complete with all amenities including full bath with shower, queen bed, A/C, dish TV, wifi internet and full kitchen. There is a large deck attached with a beautiful view of the swinging bridge and the woods. Cook out on the deck's gas grill and enjoy cool evenings by the fire pit (wood provided). Enjoy a nap in the shade in the hammock.

If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

The Sheriff's Quarters

Nestled in the heart of Rockville, this apartment was once the actual sheriff's quarters, part of the historic county jail. Now, it's been transformed into a cozy and intriguing getaway spot.
