Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

Great house for a stay in Ann Arbor. Spacious, Dog friendly listing, comfy bed in main bedroom, big space to stretch out in dining/living area. Private, despite proximity to neighbors, has a fenced/walled in yard for pups. Lots of road noise but didn’t bother us when inside. Close to downtown but a bit too far to walk to center of town. Would stay again, great communication from host. Really easy, and a good value for what you get: a rare stand alone house in busy Ann Arbor.

We had such an amazing time at the cottage! We loved the shallow water for the littles and not having to pack beach toys/accessories. The house was well laid out with plenty of space and perfect for a long weekend on the lake. Best of all, Kraig and Suzy were super communicative and we felt very welcome.

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve had in Ann Arbor. Martin was proactive, helpful, and on the day of arrival took the time to show me around the unit. The unit was spotless, and the accommodations were thoughtful.

Barn Bungalow Stylish Amenities

Place looked exactly like the pictures, the surrounding area was no more than 10 minutes from lots of fast food and restaurants to choose from a local gas station was less than 30 seconds if that. During my trip, it was raining and I totally forgot an umbrella. Luckily, there was one hanging by the door for me to use. Will be back.

My husband and I picked Patricia’s place because of the fun game room she had downstairs-and I’m sure glad we did! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time playing pool, air hockey, shuffle board, ping pong and PINBALL!!! There was also a nice quiet study room upstairs where the kids could still participate in their online classes without missing a beat. Every space was so beautifully decorated and spacious it really felt peaceful. We were visiting in the winter so the cozy propane fireplace was a hit as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We had a very nice stay! The log-home construction and theme was very nice and unique for the area and the home was comfortable, roomy and thoughtfully designed, featuring high quality newer appliances and modern finishes that gave it a fresh, welcoming feel. The lake view was nice with plenty of bird sightings right outside the window. The house was well-stocked with most everything we needed, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. While there is a high-speed road nearby, the noise was minimal with the windows closed and didn’t detract from the overall experience. Close to many grocery stores and restaurants in the Hillsdale and Jonesville area. Lisa was fantastic to work with—friendly, responsive, and made everything incredibly smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

This is a great location for accessing the best Ann Arbor has to offer. It was easy to walk to Kerrytown/Main Street and the walk to Central Campus was painless even for my young kids. It is a well maintained but older house with quirky electrical outlets and light switches. The house is well stocked with essentials and the house was relatively quiet and private given it's proximity to Main St. Would definitely stay here again.

My family had a great stay at this beautiful property! The decor is fabulous and amenities are abundant. It was great being in walking distance from so many restaurants and attractions. The host checked in on us and made sure all was well throughout our stay. My family loved it so much that they want to stay here every time they visit Ann Arbor! We highly recommend staying here.

This is a first rate home in any location, but especially wonderful as a visiting parent of Hillsdale college students. It was our favorite for our daughter’s last 2 years at Hillsdale. It’s a premium rental! Thanks Laura and Eric! You’ve made our visits very comfortable.

This was a delightful place and we'd definitely try to stay there again! The hosts were so nice. We had a few questions and we got a rapid, helpful response each time. Wonderful location, right in the middle of everything. Great restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is as described and as shown on the pictures, and is very comfortable. The bedroom is in the back so it is extremely quiet. We didn’t use the rooftop but it has great views and is a very nice addition to this apartment. Highly recommended.
