We’ve stayed many times and will come back again. The cabin is well stocked, peaceful, and relaxing. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

We have a family of seven and there was plenty of room for all of us to camp out here. The time flew by fast as they have a lake on property with plenty to do (kayaking, swimming, fishing). The hosts were very friendly and helpful all the way through the entire stay. They had all the amenities for a comfortable visit. We definitely recommend this place and will be back again. What stood out the most to me is that you can see the galaxies at night very clearly from the property and it was very quiet and private. The tents were very clean, comfortable, and our children enjoyed camping out. The tents come with air conditioning, many plug ins, along with lighting and a small fridge. The beds were very comfortable. There is a double restroom and shower on site that is private to your own camp, which is connected to city water. There is a bait shop and stores within 3 miles from the camp site. There is also a state park not far away (Shakamak). We highly recommend this property

After driving 17 hours to get from Texas to Indiana, Nicholas’ home away from home was the perfect place for rest. Spacious beds and a nice back porch made for a comfortable stay. We hope to stay again when we go back to Loogootee!

This house was perfect for our girls’ weekend. Plenty of comfortable spaces to hang out both inside and outside. Comfy beds. Overall very peaceful, which is exactly what we needed!

Our family came together from across the U.S. and even New Zealand for our mother’s Celebration life service and this beautiful lake house was the perfect place for it. The host was very accommodating, and the home had everything we needed—plenty of space, a great pool, game room to die for, peaceful lake views, and spots to gather both inside and out. We fished, shared meals, and spent quality time together. It was the perfect setting for such a meaningful time, and we’re so thankful for the memories we made here.

What a lovely visit. The cabin was perfect! Scenery was great in addition to owls and deer. The heated floors and luxury blankets were perfect additions to a great stay. This place was everything I could have wanted and more! I will be back!!!!!

Melba is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with! She communicates very well, is extremely helpful, and very accommodating. We will stay with her again!

We had a wonderful time! Beautiful setting. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The host also had the home beautifully decorated for the holidays. While you are in a country setting that is a peaceful getaway, you are about a 10 min drive to lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend.
