The Ferny Hoolet is a stunning chalet that embraces nature & is full of character. It is a wildlife oasis where you can regularly see kingfishers, woodpeckers and hear ferny hoolets from your balcony. When you are not chilling in the hot tub, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the indoor space, which has a wonderful, relaxing feel-good atmosphere. We are just 30 minutes to the Lake District and 2 miles to M6,which offers great access to explore the N.W. We allow 2 well-behaved small/medium dogs.

Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Surrounded by rolling fells and winding valleys you will feel truly relaxed after visiting Hartley’s Huts. The lodge is well kit out with an en suite bedroom in one half and kitchen/living area in the other half. The living area boasts a log burner which creates a cosy atmosphere whatever the season.
