We started our journey here and what a great start it was! The rooms are just amazing, from the kitchen to the bedroom and my personal favorite, the shower. But just as good: the outside. The pool with the warm water was our favorite place, but do not skip the morning walks inside the gardens - we saw so many animals, mainly birds, but also a sloth and a tiny anteater.

My fiance and I stayed here for 4 nights and truly enjoyed it! The place is magical and peaceful. The animals on the farm are really friendly & the house is amazing!

Very nice hosts and a very peaceful stay! Loved the agriculture and views around the place. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to the town of La fortuna. It was perfect!

We loved this little oasis. jacuzzi awesome. A/c worked great! Hot water and shower were great! Clean! Deck lovely. Bed very comfortable. WiFi was very spotty - hard to access internet readily. Reported to owners. They plan to check into it. I’d recommend a car with decent clearance - road is a bit rocky in parts to get to place However - can hear river, jungle noises, and private beautiful location Would HIGHLY recommend. Close to town La Fortuna ( 5-7 min drive into town,).Can walk to some very good restaurants in neighborhood ! Can walk to coffee shop and convenient store if needed. Close to El Salto, too - fun rope swing into river ! Thanks Tati & John !

Wow what a beautiful place that was very clean and easy to find and close to la Fortuna town. The walking trails are great to explore and overlooked in most reviews but do yourself a favor and walk around and enjoy the beauty. The hammock and pool were highlights and the king bed was super comfortable. Great kitchen and bathroom. Felt right at home and look forward to our next stay. Highly recommended.

Awesome space- saw some great wildlife. The environment of Monteverde is well displayed here. The hot tub and sauna were a nice touch. Nice space for a couple. Bathroom and shower were nice. We had a lovely time! Connected trails right to the Airbnb but we didn’t get a chance to explore. The host was very easy to communicate with overall!

Great host, very friendly and accommodating! Great location, too. Far enough from town that you feel safe and secure, but close enough that it’s not an inconvenience to drive into town.

Magnifique petite maison tranquille. Le chemin en arrière de la maison est également magnifique et c’est parfait pour une petite marche pour apprécier la nature. Je reviendrai certainement ici !

Excelente cabaña, muy limpio, ordenado, fácil de llegar, el lugar perfecto para una escapada de la rutina, como plus estaría genial un aire acondicionado pero aun así no tengo queja, muy bello todo

This lovely, hand-built cabin is nestled among small fields of fruit and vegetables, flowering trees and lush forest. It was clean, quiet and private. Our peaceful mornings were filled with colorful song birds (lots of hummingbirds). This space is delightfully simple but perfect for exploring the area and getting a taste for Pura Vida! Edgar, the host was responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations for local restaurants. A whole pineapple and bananas were on the counter upon our arrival and were delicious. Costa Rica is early to bed early to rise, as the birds, frogs and bugs are up singing their morning song. I am not an early riser normally but I was asleep early (sun sets at 6pm) and bounding out of bed for coffee in the hammock out back. Would highly recommend this stay if you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle. It is about 30 minute drive to La Fortuna/Arenal parks.

Great place to stay in monteverde. Peaceful and quiet, great view of the stars. Private paths take you to a nice waterfall. Location was a short drive to everything yet far enough away from the noise. Room was quiet chill despite no AC. Shower had hot water. ** 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required in my opinion as the route to the home is steep and gravel.

Un peu loin de tout, cabane très confortable (même de l'eau chaude, contrairement à la description), avec une petite terrasse sur le lac qui permet de déjeuner en compagnie d'un colibri ou des poissons. Très bien indiqué, super pour être au calme ! nous recommandons !

Nice place to stay in Monteverde! Excellent accommodations and lodging space. We opted for the additional breakfast in the morning which was delicious before our tour in the Cloud Forest. Would recommend to anyone staying in Monteverde!

Nous avons adoré notre cabane dans cette ferme. Très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi. Un peu isolé du centre ville, mais c’est ce que nous voulions. Nous avons aperçu des perroquets au réveil, quoi demander de plus !!

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und entsprach den Bildern. Andrea hat einen sehr freundlichen Umgangston und reagiert schnell. Als wir uns irrtümlich selbst von der Unterkunft ausgesperrt haben, reagierte sie blitzschnell und beauftragte jemanden um für uns die Türe wieder zu öffnen. Am liebsten wären wir den ganzen Tag auf dem Balkon gesessen um den bunten Vögeln zuzuschauen. In der Umgebung von La Fortuna würde ich keine andere Unterkunft wählen.

Gerardo was great and the place is very unique. Complimentary coffee was awesome. Bed was a bit firm for me but that’s just personal preference. If you don’t mind being about 25 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, then this place is a must stay!

We loved the place so much, one of the best so far, it is an entire cabin, spacious, comfortable, spotless, has all the basic cooking utensils. Had a private parking right next to the cabin. The surrounding were beautiful, very well maintained, with beautiful plants and a variety of flowers. We heard the birds singing, so peaceful and quiet. Melanie always so attentive, answered promptly our questions, so kind and helpful. For sure we will be back. Nos encantó el lugar tanto, para nosotros ha sido uno de los mejores. Es una cabaña completamente equipada con todo lo necesario. Con todo los utensilios para cocinar, con un estacionamiento privado al lado de la cabaña. El entorno tan hermoso muy bien mantenido con hermosas plantas y flores. Escuchábamos los pajaritos cantar. Melanie es una excelente anfitriona, siempre muy atenta, contestada rápidamente nuestras preguntas, muy amable con nosotros. Seguro volveremos a quedarnos. Lilly y Daniel
