Tucked away in a quiet lane , place is neat and clean, good wifi, AC (extra charges), and best of all, truly pet friendly too! So it was ideal for our December end holiday for our family of four and our little min pin. Upstairs Cottage where we had booked is private with a pretty big terrace which doubles as a dining space, and great for watching the start studded night sky! Rooms are also available in the property, which has lot of greenery. Relaxing! Ideal for a beach holiday as the property is only ten minutes walk from the clean, quiet beach. no hawkers or shops here. Pristine sea, hope it stays like this ! Carry your own toiletries. beach towels/mats if you like to spend extended time at the beach as we did. Host is very responsive and we had options of South Indian home cooked lovely food, (appam, stew, rice, curry) as well as North Indian roti, tasty sabzi made by the very helpful energetic Suraj and his wife Vasu. Reasonable charges for food.

it was a great experience. The location was quiet and surrounded by nature, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall vibe of the place was calm and inviting. The host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Mr. Thoufiq was the host, the rooms were super clean and welcomed us with a refreshing smell. He was also generous enough to accommodate an extra guest. The host also helped us in arranging local tours and sightseeing.

We visited Serenity House in January 2023. My two friends and I had visited and from the booking request onwards the hosts Nilesh and Beena have been very helpful and responsive . We were given precise instructions and it was nice to meet Nilesh and Beena who helped us ease the check in. The house has a fully functional kitchen. The caretaker served us good breakfast and was always available for any help that we needed. You have a view of the backwaters and can hear the constant rumble of the sea. The beach is just 100 meters away and the sea.was quite calm. It's mostly an empty beach and it's stretching for many kilometres. Its a calm and silent island. Some restaurants are available a few kilometres away from the place or you can also go to Payannur town for more op pt options. Kayaking and backwater cruise is also available nearby for activities.

very helpful host, the place was enchanting. You had a feeling you were staying in a forest. Away from the noise and pollution, fresh air. A right place to get yourself recharged.

A nice place to chill out with your friends and families. Ashu the manager is very responsive and helpful! Right now they have two beautiful mini cottages with attached bathrooms. At least 2 people can stay in each room. The outside setup is beautiful you can spend hours and hours in the garden area with a mesmerizing green hilly view of the Western Ghats. Just one thing we faced network issues over there and the wifi strength was also not good. Will request management to set up a strong wifi, other than this everything was pretty great. I will recommend everyone to stay at this place as this provides a great gateway from the tedious life!

A wonderful property worth every penny you paid for .. private space and a lot to see and walk which is pretty .. a wonderful choice if you want to cut off from the busy and crowded life to a peaceful space that emphasis on nature .. the care taker and the services provided are top class

Rajath is a great host and made us feel right at home. the property is very well placed with a beautiful 360 view. I would definitely recommend staying here to feel right at home.

I recently stayed at this stunning Airbnb nestled right beside the backwaters, and I couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and picturesque retreat. The property looks exactly like it does in the photos—if anything, it’s even more beautiful in person. The view of the backwater is serene and ever-changing, making every moment feel magical, whether you're sipping coffee at sunrise or enjoying the golden hour glow. One of the standout features for me was how spacious and pet-friendly the home is. We traveled with our dog, there was plenty of room for him to run and play freely, and the environment felt completely safe and welcoming for pets. The interiors are tastefully done. The rooms are airy and clean. The host was amazing—responsive, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. Communication was smooth from the start, and they shared great local tips to make us feel at home. If you’re after a peaceful, pet-friendly nature escape, this place is perfect for a weekend or longer stay.

I had a wonderful three-day stay at Silver Creek. Shree is an attentive and responsive host who takes excellent care of his guests. The food was delicious and had a comforting, homemade quality. I traveled with my three dogs, and they had a fantastic time as well. I’d love to stay longer on my next visit!

Great place to stay. Rooms are really clean. Host was very helpful. Close to the monastery and has easy access to Coorg which is an hour away.

The cottage is just like the photos—well-maintained and surrounded by absolutely stunning views that feel like they belong in a postcard. There’s a tea garden right next to the property and plenty of nature to explore nearby. The host was super responsive and helpful during our stay, sharing great local tips and even helping us with transportation, which made everything easier. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a break from the city and some quality time in nature.
