Cosy rural cottage

Our self-contained cottage is set within our rural, mature garden and surrounded by farmland just off State Highway 1. We are 15 minutes from the centre of Taupo with all the tourist attractions, golf courses and our beautiful lake a 10-15 minute drive away. It is a 50 minute drive to Rotorua and 90 minutes to the ski fields. Relax in our cosy cottage after exploring the beautiful Lake Taupo district or visiting for work or play. The cottage is private up from the main house with easy parking.

Our warm and sunny Lake view studio is in a garden setting located adjacent to our Lake front residence. Off street parking, direct access to the Lake. Small kitchen with microwave, coffee machine, fridge, toasted sandwich maker, Weber BBQ, Pizza cooker, air fryer. You have your our own private en-suite. Super King size bed, Leather couch, dining table. Heat pump for Summer cooling or heating during the Winter months. Complementary continental breakfast is left in your room. Free view TV

Views over Whakaipo Bay

Our home sits high on a hill with amazing views over Lake Taupo and the surrounding countryside. The two bedroom cottage has a separate lounge area with a well stocked kitchenette, heat pump and large deck plus a private patio. Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track. Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

Cosy Cottage Retreat Motuoapa

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

Large enough for car and trailer. Lock up for bicycles on request. Extra towels for swimming

Kowhai Hideaway

Enjoy all the comforts of a well appointed hotel in this apartment style hideaway. Located just 400m from Lake Taupo, you are perfectly situated to take advantage of the popular Two Mile Bay Reserve, Boat Ramp, Lions Walk and the Iconic Two Mile Bay Sailing Club - the perfect spot to relax with a drink and wood fired pizza while taking in the panoramic views across the lake. Just minutes to town by car, or enjoy a stroll along the Lions walk to reach the town centre.

Rural private guesthouse in a quiet country garden

Tucked away in a very private tranquil setting only 9km from Taupo is our 1 bedroom guesthouse with separate kitchen area, lounge and bathroom. Surrounding the cottage is an expansive deck where you can take in the stunning country garden or just sit back and listen to the silence. Plenty of parking. WIFI available - not fibre, but get 15-20mbps. Sometimes WIFI is erractic for reasons unknown. Sorry no pets.

Rainbows End Cottage

A cute, clean and cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded native bush setting. Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi. Linen and bedding is provided. Please send an enquiry regarding pets prior to sending a booking request.

This is a fully private self contained unit. Queen size bed in separate bedroom, complete kitchen and bathroom, includes heat pump and washing machine. Short stroll through the park to beach and general store. Conveniently centrally located to all the walks and mountain bike tracks that Kinloch has to offer. Freeview TV, Wifi , off street parking. Breakfast not included.

New Entire Guesthouse

You'll have a comfortable stay in our modern, very clean, cosy & warm new-build (2 years old), self-contained 2 bedroom unit. 4km from Taupo town in Two Mile Bay, beside Botanical Gardens and 1km from the lake foreshore. Best suited up to 4 people but allows up to 6 with the comfortable mattress type sofa bed in the lounge for guests 5 & 6. Please keep this in mind.
