The property is located on the main bus route between Newcastle (3 miles) and Durham (12 miles) with buses running every 20 minutes and once an hour after midnight. We are located 15 minutes walk from the Angel of the North and next door to a pub which is open for food daily. The local high street is a 15 minute walk with a huge selection of pubs, bars and restaurants.

There are some lovely local walks and pubs to visit, but if you wanted to venture further, the coast and gorgeous Northumberland are also within easy reach. Private flat, public outdoor space. Beamish museum is located less than a 5 minute drive away. The South Causey is also located less than a 5 minute drive away. Durham city centre is a 15 minute drive away. Newcastle city centre is a 15 minute drive away. The Hilltop pub & restaurant is 1 minute walk from the property. The C2C cycle route is around a 5 minute cycle away. This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.
