We had a wonderful stay. The view was breath taking. I could have relaxed on the porch the whole time ,but we visited plenty of parks and places during the day. Definitely recommend this hill country gem.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting.. so peaceful, lots of deer, turkeys, livestock! Great place to unwind yet close to town for some shopping! House has everything you need. Nancy is an amazing host, quick to respond to any question .. early check-in, fresh flowers, bottle of wine, helped make our girls birthday weekend a wonderful time!

I would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling in area. We were here for our son’s wedding and it was the perfect place for our families to gather during the week. The home is very spacious and has lots of room indoors/outdoors for guests to enjoy. The host was very kind to accommodate our requests and responded promptly.

As a fellow Airbnb Host all I can say is that I hope my guest enjoy the space at my house as much as I did here. Tonia has something very special here. Btw I have never met her so this is NOT a friend review. The hot tub on the deck for sunsets was amazing. I loved that it’s white so you can judge the cleanliness of the water. The house was spotless, the bed was over the top comfortable, it was simply a fantastic trip for me. I needed down time away from work and it was found here. There is a cool private unused landing strip behind the house that gives you the perfect separation from the road behind the house. The bathroom is huge, the kitchen is well equipped and outside of the house is well lit or dimly lit to preference. I can’t wait to return. Tonia was a fabulous host. Don’t hesitate to book this one.

We had such an amazing time. There are pros and cons to being 15 minutes away from town but we absolutely loved the privacy and tranquility of this place. We used the hot tub twice but unfortunately there was a burn ban so no fire for us. We enjoyed the wildlife (deer, goats, etc) but especially enjoyed the stars at night! Unforgettable! This place had plenty of towels, hair dryers, etc. it was a bit rustic but that’s my style! I highly recommend this property. The communication was too notch too! I have zero complaints and look forward to our next trip to Fredericksburg!

If you and your partner are looking for a secluded and private country getaway, Bliss in Boerne is so quiet and perfect. We were able to shut out the world and enjoy one on one time! Ben is a great and very responsive host with an adorable casita. We enjoyed the hot tub, saw donkeys and horses on a stroll. It was just nice and peaceful!

The Nichols place is a dream. Everything looks exactly as the pictures. My husband and I came to Fredericksburg to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t made a better decision staying at their place. The unit was sparkling clean, super comfortable, with everything you need to spend a relaxing weekend away from home. The hot tub and all the details such as: decoration, coffee makers, the swing, the wildlife (especially the deers) and the bottle of wine to get our celebration started, were amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. We plan to come back soon!

The cutest little place! We wanted a nice little getaway to fred without the hustle and bustle of the town. Was very easy to check in and the inside was absolutely adorable. The hot tube is very private and even though you are close to the highway the noise is not obnoxious. Everything was super clean and comfy. Can not wait to stay again.

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

David and Athena have done an absolutely amazing job with this place. We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations. David and Athena put thought into every detail, and it shows. Very comfortable, very clean, very peaceful location. David and Athena are also very warm, welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!

Vicky and Micky made us feel very relaxed and welcomed. We loved that our stay was away off from the road which made our stay quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the country setting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

Home Away Ranch is not just a place to stay, but a place to rest fully, to meet amazing animals, and to enjoy a beautifully appointed cabin in the most beautiful place on Earth. Vicky and Micky have created a sanctuary for animals here, but it is also a sanctuary for human beings, a place of profound healing and beauty. I've never seen a more beautiful place. They offer gourmet meals, horseback riding lessons, gun range lessons, and expertly selected wines and mixed drinks. The goats are so fun to watch, with babies climbing trees! But truly what makes this place special is Vicky and Micky, living angels whose loving faith lives in their works and not just in their words. If you need a deeper rest that a simple "place to stay" can offer, Home Away Ranch is where you want to be!

It was so quiet that’s what impressed me the most And within 20 minutes, you could be right in town Which was nice I love animals. It was awesome.

My wife and I loved our stay. The location was perfect just a few miles outside downtown Boerne. We were able to enjoy our day and quickly get away from it all on beautiful land with great cabins that feel like a true escape. The cabins were well appointed with everything we needed. Our hosts thought of everything and made our stay perfect. We had a nice chat with very hospitable chickens in the morning. And the most friendly donkey ever wished us well when we left. Don’t think twice, this is a great place to stay and the hosts are top notch. We feel like we have new friends in Boerne that we look forward to visiting again very soon.
