The home has a keypad-gated driveway and is only 10 minutes from Downtown Detroit! Our neighborhood has an authentic urban Detroit character yet is quiet and safe. Ideal for MATURE couples or adults who need a place to get away and catch some STAYCATION VIBES! Enjoy the detached, heated/air-conditioned entertainment garage with a hot tub, plus the firepit in the backyard!

The Pingree of Piety Hill_Home # 1

Come stay at our preserved 1912 lower flat, furnished with Detroit-honored art & literature throughout, and enriched with craftsman character & contemporary charm. Found in the peaceful Piety Hill neighborhood, so unfortunately we do NOT allow gatherings of more than 15 persons. This is a 2-family home, but ONLY YOU will have full access to the entire 1st floor and basement level of this property. The 2nd floor home will NOT be occupied during your stay; just maintenance and cleaning staff.

Bordering aesthetically between steampunk chic and bohemian chill the home is filled with handmade furniture, art and a variety of features and comforts meant to both relax the body and satisfy the mind. From handcrafted silver knobs, custom built beds, lamps and other features everything was carefully built or imported from our various travels. Truly too many unique elements to list. I have been hosting people in Detroit for over a decade, and my lofts have been featured in Airbnb mag & Hour Detroit.

A short walk to downtown Ferndale is where you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, coffee houses and bars. Downtown Detroit is 11 miles away and a quick 15 minute drive. Our home is perfect for couples, small families, business travelers and LGBT travelers. The large fenced backyard is perfect for your house trained dog.
