Beautiful Barn Retreat with Private Indoor Pool

Knypersley Mill Barn is a self-contained first floor apartment reached via exterior staircase situated above the swimming pool, steam room, shower room and changing room for sole use to you. An open plan sitting/dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, twin bedroom and a bathroom which consists of jacuzzi bath and large separate shower. There is a fabulous log fire for cosy evenings in relaxing after the beautiful walks and sights that Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District have to offer.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Dog Friendly Ground Floor Cottage with Shared Pool

What used to be a working farm has now been turned into its own little holiday village. Enjoy the home comforts of a ground floor, one bed cottage, which consists of kitchen, dining & living area. The bed can be made into either king size or twin with a set bunk-beds. En-suite bathroom. Within 10 minute walk of the popular Carsington Water. Dog Friendly cottage accepting up to 2 x dogs, a fee of £25.00 per dog is payable (not included in price). Please ask to see our dog rules prior to booking.

Totally Isolated Pennine Cabin

A cosy, rustic hut in a field with 2 comfy kingsize beds (sheets & duvet not provided), en suite shower & loo, set in a secluded spot on a small, quiet 36 acre farm with fishing lake & boat in a remote, beautiful, little visited, yet very accessible area of the Pennines with expansive views of the stunning Thursden Valley. An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway. Sorry no dogs. No loud music.

The Shippen

From the moment you approach our Shepherds Hut you are greeted with motion sensor exterior lights, open the doors kick off your shoes and feel right at home with warmth from the under floor heating.

Nestled in the stunning Peak District National Park, Henry’s is a charming converted barn with a private south-facing terrace featuring a hot tub, infrared sauna, and beautiful countryside views. Enjoy an antique four-poster bed and daily private access to the indoor pool facilities for an hour. Stay connected with Starlink Wi-Fi. Close to Bakewell, Chatsworth, and Haddon Hall, this retreat allows 1 dog under 25kg or 2 minis (no puppies) and is perfect for a countryside escape.

Uppergate Farmhouse Apartment

The one-bedroom apartment is located in a self-contained wing of a listed farmhouse. Oak beams, flag floors, with every modern convenience. The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.

Eider cottage - charming listed weavers cottage with many original features, tucked away behind the church in the very centre of this quaint village. It has a private secluded hot tub for an additional cost and the option to book the owners private spa facilities subject to availability & additional cost.
