The Red Lion pub is a short stroll away, as is the community village shop/post office. The” Cathedral in the Peak” Tideswell is just 0.6 mile away. Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

West View Cottage - a perfect, cosy base

Tucked away in a peaceful location above the lovely village of Tideswell, West View Cottage is the perfect base to relax and explore the beautiful Peak District. Newly renovated, this self contained, cosy annexe is a light and welcoming space with its own entrance at the back of our family home. It has beautiful views across the valley but is within a short walk of excellent pubs, restaurants and cafe. Walking and cycling from the door or a short drive to all the Peak District attractions.

Monsal View Cottage

A beautiful space with exquisite views set at the iconic viewpoint of Monsal Head. This is the perfect base to really enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer- including the most epic view of all at Monsal Head and the Headstone Viaduct. ** Pets allowed on request ** Located at Hobb’s Cafe so you have a quaint little cafe right next door! Welcome to Fern Cottage, a charming characterful 17th century stone built lead miners dwelling with its exposed beams and original grit stone fireplace. Located in the picturesque village of Foolow in the centre of the Peak District National Park. Foolow (originally "la foulowe" - 1284) meaning a hill frequented by birds, is one of the hidden gems of the Peak District. Within easy travel to many Peak District attractions and walks. We warmly welcome well behaved doggies.

Shepherds hut, Peak District, Derbyshire Hills

The Railway Carriage/Shepherds Hut is located in the Peak District, Derbyshire within the picturesque grounds of our small remote campsite. It has its own private garden surrounded by drystone walls and amazing views of the surrounding area. Designed and finished to a high contemporary standard while also maintaining the heritage of the 1930s railway carriage. Surprisingly spacious it has an en suite shower room, kitchen, sofa, a wood burning stove and a double bed.
