Clerks Cottage is a unique, characterful cottage in Baltonsborough, a bustling village with shop and pub in the heart of Somerset. Ideally situated to visit Glastonbury, Street, Wells and Bruton, and with easy access to Millfield’s senior and prep schools, The Newt and Glastonbury Festival. The accommodation is full of period features but is cosy and perfect for feeling like you're getting away from it all. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained with private woods, trampoline, swing, football net and Wii. Everything you would need is provided along with fresh eggs from our free roaming hens when laying, coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

Tucked away in the very heart of the picturesque city of Wells, just moments from the High Street, Cathedral & Bishop's Palace. The Hidey Hole is a charming one bedroom cottage, accessed via a pretty central courtyard. Having recently been refurbished, this stylish cottage offers an eclectic mix, combining modern convenience, character features and quirky, yet sumptuous, décor. This hidden gem is ideally placed to enjoy all that Wells has to offer and makes the perfect place to relax & unwind.

The Wheelwrights Workshop

The Wheelwrights Workshop is located at the end of an old barn which has since been converted into this lovely self catering cottage that sleeps two. Please note currently we are offering this cottage at a reduced rate as outside the main door of the cottage there is another old barn which is yet to be converted and due to that there is a little clutter. Rest assured though once inside the cottage you will not notice it and the bedroom window has views of the Tor our only cottage that does.

Easy access to Cheddar Gorge with its staggering caves, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey rich in myth and legend and Wells with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

The cottage oozes character, from the oak beams to the huge inglenook fireplace with woodburner. Well equipped kitchen with traditional oak table and pews. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and a small single bed, suitable for a child. Adjoining the bedroom, is the shower room with walk in shower. There is a large private patio area for relaxing and barbecuing outside, with views of the hillside. We have a vineyard producing English Sparkling and Still Wines, made on site.
