MacLeod House Guest Cottage-Nature lovers' getaway

MacLeod House Guest Cottage is a self-contained stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The open plan accommodation is decorated in an Edwardian style but with all the modern conveniences you might require. The cottage overlooks the magnificent Krantzkloof gorge. There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. A 'must see' for nature lovers.

Studio 2 @ Churchill lane

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. The 5 Self catering cottages, overlooking the well stocked dam and amazing birdlife, is a must visit. Our studios are Solar powered and inverter run, so load shedding does not affect your stay. This modern studio with a separate bedroom and bathroom is equipped to make any stay comfortable. Our units are equipped with large TV's, large fridge and Freezer, Air fryer, Microwave,Washing Machine, Large work station and great Wifi.

Jungle Oasis

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Churchill Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. From the bedroom and patio the views are amazing all the way to the sea on clear days. The apartment is modern and comfortable, it has just had a complete refurb. It is close to the highway for easy access to Hillcrest Village , and most of Durban. There is a shared pool in season as well as a fire pit for the colder evenings. We also have an inverter that’s operates Wi-Fi, lights and some plugs in case of load shedding.

Kingfisher Cradle - peaceful and central

Well positioned in the cul de sac with 24hour guards, on the edge of a conservancy enclosed by game fencing on much of the perimeter. The Owl House - Modern unit in a tranquil setting

Based in central Hillcrest, the Owl House is a recently renovated loft room located on a well secured property, with a large verdant garden. The space is private and well equipped with modern features for the discerning traveler, whether it be for business, leisure or sport functions. Self check in and out is quick and easy via a keypad at the main gate, a key box is located at the entrance to the unit.

Seaside Heaven

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Our cabin is situated directly on the spectacular Indian Ocean, in a safe and peaceful location and has everything you need to rest and relax. Seaside Heaven offers a modern well equipped kitchen, 1 x sea facing king bed, outdoor braai area and is a short walk to the heart of Umdloti ! The Cabin can only be accessed via walking stairs (100 to be exact).

Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage available in leafy Kloof. Maytime is a secure area within Kloof and the property is within walking distance to the Kloof country club and shops. Self contained with its own kitchenette, tv lounge, bathroom, queen sized bed and outside patio. Parking on the main driveway. No generator/inverter on the property. There are dogs on the property but will be kept separate and are friendly.

If you are coming for business we have a fast and dependable WiFi & work station & GENERATOR if necessary.

Enjoy easy access to all the local attractions Hillcrest has to offer from this centrally located gorgeous cottage. This property is ideally located for quick access to shops and restaurants (2 min drive) and is the perfect stayover for parents visiting children at nearby boarding schools. During the Comrades Marathon access to the route along Old Main Road is only a 5-minute walk away.
