The Studio on the beach

Lovely modern self-catering cottage set in a huge beautiful garden right on the beach. Enjoy a glass of bubbly on the deck. Ideal for a romantic getaway. Although no sea view from the unit itself you can fall asleep while listening to the waves crashing at night. Lovely tidal pools to bathe in or to fish. The main Blue flag beach is a short stroll away. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a firepit, braai area outside in the private garden area. Owners willing to assist wherever needed.

Our quaint sea-side cottage is located on Pennington’s favoured beachside Cherry Lane. Halter Cottage is positioned in a stunning expansive, mainly indigenous garden. The beach is accessed directly from the top of the garden. It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. This friendly coastal village is warm year round & home to Umdoni Forest boasting good birds fauna & flora

A 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive will take you to the swimming beach and nearby grocery shops, take-aways and restaurants. Just 25 minutes away from the city of Durban, this quiet spot makes for the ideal holiday or business stay. Please note: We do not permit parties on the property. There are several walking,- mountain bike and horse riding trails. Both Umdoni Park- and and Selborne Country club offer golfers with two of the most challenging courses on our Coast.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, close to the beach with a sea view. whole top floor of the house. 2 Bedrooms, one kingsize and a further bedroom with a double and single. Kitchen, Lounge, bathroom and separate w.c. Lovely balcony with sea views and space for a small bbq. Use of the covered veranda and fire pit areas.
