Such a gorgeous property! If you love old charm you’ll love it like we did!

This is a lovely and spacious home in a beautiful setting along the Potomac River. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck with our morning coffee or in the evening, watching the sun set or the deer along the river. Those views were also available in the spacious living room facing the deck. The kitchen was well appointed, which we always appreciate when cooking meals in and the beds and linens were nice and comfortable. There were games available in the closet and my adult kids enjoyed setting up and playing badminton on the back lawn. Sylvia was a wonderful host that communicated clearly and was very helpful. We will look forward to coming back some time in the future.

The house was great for our holiday get together. It's in a great location for Southern Maryland. It was also fun to see the animals hosted there.

Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.

The house was perfect for our entire family! Just the right size and super comfortable.

We loved our stay. It was spotless, safe, and so comfortable. It was just beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the patio at night with my kindle and a glass of wine. It is also super convenient to our children and grandchildren. We definitely plan to stay here in the future.

Definitely one of the best Air BNBs we have stayed at! Great location, clean & tidy, perfect for a family with little kids!

This place was just perfect for my friends and I to relax and getaway for my birthday! The furnishings and decor made us feel at home. The neighborhood was tranquil and a couple minutes to the supermarket which was convenient. We can’t wait to book Melissa’s place again in the future. She was a wonderful host!

Great location, everything clean, Mark is incredibly responsive, and he clearly pays a lot of attention to keeping the apartment stocked with everything a guest needs. For example, when we used the stove top, there was a great selection of pans, there was a potholder right there, all the cooking utensils we needed, dish soap, a drying rack, etc. It may seem like a little thing, but it’s representative of the entire apartment. If there’s something you need and hope is there, it’s there. Great stay.
