Casa Cielo is a special place. I was looking for something more unique than the rinse and repeat new Airbnb builds closer to La Fortuna. The huge windows overlooking the private lake was serene. Curt is an incredible host who truly embraces the concept of "hosting". The food was spectacular - way above and beyond. Extremely generous high-effort home cooking from Vielca (sp?). We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner each day we were there and had no desire to go to restaurants. They even did laundry for us! I'd definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a unique place to stay.

Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

This is a very nice, secure, spacious, family home in a local Costa Rican town. All the locals are extremely friendly, and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. We woke up every morning to see a beautiful white horse in the backyard, hummingbirds galore, and there was even a sloth family that lived in the trees above the playground down the street. Andrea is a fabulous host, who really cares about your stay, and checks in daily. We did a pineapple tour, visited the butterfly gardens, relaxed in thermal springs, and of course saw the volcano Arenal. There is so much to do nearby. We would rebook this place in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Rebeca's place is exactly like the photos. She communicates well with any information you need about the area. I would stay at this place again.

After staying here last year our kids were so excited to come back! They love the pool! The house has everything you need and is very clean! The property is amazing and we have even seen several sloths.

Villa 2 was an amazing stay for our family of 5. Our 3 young children loved the pool and walking the property looking for birds, lizards, bugs, and the sloth. It was a perfect location to explore La Fortuna on our trip and was a great deal! Would love to return!

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

El lugar está bien, como se ve en las fotos y tienen un tele en el que se puede ingresar a plataformas de streaming para ver en la noche, lo único es que los baños están a la par y se escucha todo, con el carro parqueado en el espacio se tiene más privacidad

Lovely place with a beautiful lake view. The check-in mechanism allow us enter at early morning when we were coming from my sister’s wedding. Highly recommend if you what to spend a peaceful night with the song of the lake/river and births and delicious native food restaurants around the area. Thanks Yinley for this opportunity!!!

Le séjour avec Luis et sa femme a été réussi sur toute la ligne. L’espace est adorable: la décoration est belle et on s’y sent très bien en arrivant. Luis et sa femme ont été vraiment attentionnés avec moi et m’ont fait de belle suggestions d’endroits à visiter et de restaurant à essayer. Ils sont adorables. La distance de marche est courte pour se rendre à la rue principale et je m’y rendais à pied à chaque fois. Je me suis sentie en sécurité en marchant, et ce même de soir (je voyage en solo..). C’est à peine à 5 min à pied de la rue principale. Vraiment un beau coup de cœur. Je suis hyper satisfaite de mon séjour.

Wonderful place with the outstanding views ! Clean, well organized, quiet, fully equipped house. Located on the top of the hill , which opens fantastic panorama of the mountains and the outskirts of the town! We enjoyed every morning birds chirping and even saw toucans ! The neighbors very welcoming and sweet, Patricio extremely responsive and friendly! Great get away place (you might want to stay longer than a weekend) plan accordingly 🤗 I want to thank Patricio and his team for the job the guys do ! They do it right , which means they are at the right place ! Making memories is an amazing occupation😊

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

Good value, nice well maintained clean house with an electric gate, perimeter fence and multiple security cameras. Nice sheltered outdoor areas for sitting and dining on a rainy day. There is a river and mountain with tropical forest rising up behind the house. Old style electric shower head. It can be quite hot if you keep the flow of water low. Nice screened windows for good cross ventilation. Quite cool at night so no need for AC. Spent one morning at Blue Falls which was truly amazing. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, air fryer, microwave and outdoor grill. Ran out of propane for the stove but Daniela sent over a full tank within an hour.

Casa Oropendola is magical – a happy place to be happy in! Everything needed to feel comfortable and at home is right there. It is spotless, spacious and well-equipped. The (fully equipped) kitchen, with panoramic windows looking out onto a landscape of utter beauty, is amazing. Gilbert has created a garden of stunning beauty whose heliconia are constantly visited by hummingbirds. Bird lovers – you will be in paradise here! I downloaded the Merlin app for my stay here and was amazed at the species it picked up. Note reliable wifi for work meetings. Safe - could have left the door unlocked at night - not exaggerating. Potable Spring water from the kitchen tap. Gilbert is the kindest and most generous of hosts. He told me about great places to go and helped me a lot. He goes far above and beyond what I expect, doing everything in his power to make the stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He is just a sincere and kind personality. Laguna Hule is breathtaking. Great hikes!

We had a great stay, and really enjoyed using the hot tub after long adventure days. The home had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable.

Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Se puede disfrutar de excelentes vistas, la es casa grande, cómoda y con áreas internas simplemente acogedoras. Las zonas verdes estaban muy cuidadas y limpias. La casa es de fácil acceso y a 15 minutos del Poás. Laura fue super atenta y rápida en responder.
