Our quaint sea-side cottage is located on Pennington’s favoured beachside Cherry Lane. Halter Cottage is positioned in a stunning expansive, mainly indigenous garden. The beach is accessed directly from the top of the garden. It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. This friendly coastal village is warm year round & home to Umdoni Forest boasting good birds fauna & flora

A 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive will take you to the swimming beach and nearby grocery shops, take-aways and restaurants. Just 25 minutes away from the city of Durban, this quiet spot makes for the ideal holiday or business stay. Please note: We do not permit parties on the property. Day visitors are only allowed by prior arrangement.

Our studios are Solar powered and inverter run, so load shedding does not affect your stay. This modern studio with a separate bedroom and bathroom is equipped to make any stay comfortable. Our units are equipped with large TV's, large fridge and Freezer, Air fryer, Microwave,Washing Machine, Large work station and great Wifi.

The Family Cabin

This delightful family cabin has that ultra holiday feel with a separate bedroom and living / kitchen area for comfortable family living, working and sleeping, with a sofa couch in the lounge for two children under 12. It also offers a gorgeous patio overlooking the lagoon and distant sea views. It also offers a small private garden and braai to soak up the sun. Our guests say it is value for money with our superior finishes and impressive attention to detail including SOLAR and A/C.

umBhobe Beach House is situated in Kelso, Pennington, Kwazulu Natal in a secure eco estate called, Milkwood Dunes. We have installed Solar. umBhobe Beach House is nestled behind the sand dunes in and amongst a cluster of beautiful Milkwoods with direct beach access. Memories are made at this exclusive family home. Come to the beach Where the sea is blue And little white waves Come running at you. We'll build a castle Down by the sea And look for the shells If you'll come visit me.

Horizon Hideout

A really lovely one bedroom place to stay which has all you need for a holiday or if you are on business. The wifi and TV are there for your convenience with a dedicated work space. Westville is a very treed area and green all year round. At Horizon Hideout you are so close to nature and yet only 5 minutes to the shops, an 8 min drive to the Pavilion Shopping Centre and a 20 minute drive to the Durban beachfront. Ofcourse there are plenty of other fun places to explore as well!

Jungle Oasis

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Our cabin is situated directly on the spectacular Indian Ocean, in a safe and peaceful location and has everything you need to rest and relax. Seaside Heaven offers a modern well equipped kitchen, 1 x sea facing king bed, outdoor braai area and is a short walk to the heart of Umdloti ! The Cabin can only be accessed via walking stairs (100 to be exact).
