Our recent stay at Koshi's Country Cottage in Ella was truly an amazing and memorable one. The cottage was nicely and colorfully designed to blend with nature. The cleanliness and the scent of nature blowing through the doors were exceptional. The bathrooms and the entire cottage was spic and span! We had 24 hour security around the cottage and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were served with delicious breakfast by the friendly kitchen lady. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a safe, clam, serene and relaxing holiday in Ella.

Had a great stay. It’s a property with a gate hard to spot but it’s there 😊. The property is close to both the railway station and also to the Main Street so easy to find places to eat. The master bedroom toilet seat etc could be changed and interiors upgraded to give a brighter look, but as we stayed there only two days and spent most of it outside, no complaints.

Par ou commencer.... Cette maison a été au dessus de toutes nos espérances. La maison est située en plein milieu d'une plantation de thé (nous avons pu observer la cueillette), Elle est décorée avec goût et est magnifique. La vue sur les montagnes est superbe avec des couleurs magiques au lever du soleil. Kalana nous a accueillis et à pris soin de nous. Il a été aux petits soins de notre arrivée à notre départ. Il nous a organisé la veille pour le lendemain notre excursion en train (il nous a accompagné à la gare pour l'achat des billets et nous à trouvé un super chauffeur pour notre retour de Nanu oya), nous a amenés en promenade à travers la plantation pour tout nous expliquer sur le thé.... Il a réussi cette combinaison parfaite entre disponibilité et discrétion. Le chef cuisinier nous a confectionné tous les soirs des plats dignes d'un semi-gastronomique, c'était divin. Le dernier soir nous avons eu le droit à un barbecue avec repas autour du feux....top! Encore un grand merci !!

We stayed for one night, and the place was great, nice architecture, and friendly helpful hosts!

I had a pleasant stay at this well-maintained property. The space was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, making for a relaxing experience. The host was responsive, and the overall ambiance was great. However, I believe bath accessories could be improved to enhance the experience further. With a few upgrades or adjustments, this place could be perfect. Would still recommend it for a comfortable stay!

Eine Unterkunft mitten im Dschungel, die Lage ist perfekt – abgeschieden und ruhig, aber trotzdem in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Der Host vermittelt aber auch Tuk Tuk fahrten bzw Scooter. Kaum Moskitos, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Das Frühstück war köstlich, aber das absolute Highlight war das Abendessen! Wir haben uns jeden Tag darauf gefreut – mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und einfach ein Genuss. Zudem war es immer eine Freude, mit dem Gastgeber zu plaudern und spannende Einblicke zu bekommen.

What an amazing place, in a beautiful area of the island. From the moment we drew up to the gates of the Dutch House, we were greeted by the most gorgeous Dutch villa, and the all-pervasive smile of Kannan, who looked after us like members of the family during our stay. The house sits high on the hills outside of Bandarawela, up a short, but very steep road, which gives it a great vantage point over the surrounding lush hills and mountains. It’s a great climate so a gin and tonic on the veranda was a joy. We made use of the pool, and although not heated, you soon get used to it. The surrounding gardens are very well kept and have a plethora of birds and other wildlife. The food prepared by the on site chef was wonderful, as was the attentive service from Kannan. We also had the best sleep we've had during our trip. Even if you’re not in the immediate area, a drive here and a stay in this wonderful house, will surely be one of the highlights of any trip. It was for ours.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage mit richtig schöner Aussicht! Im Kühlschrank waren bereits einige Getränke kaltgestellt, die wir zu günstigen Preis sofort trinken konnten. Deepal hat uns darüber hinaus super freundlich empfangen und sich auch während unseres Aufenthaltes gut um uns gekümmert!!
