With a team of local craftsmen, we have transformed the former boxing club into a modern studio flat, keeping some of its unique and historic characteristics. Tucked away in a snug part of town, with everything you need on your doorstep.

Avalon Retreat Cabin - Central Glastonbury

Avalon Retreat is a private cabin in the heart of Glastonbury, within 5 minutes walk of the High street and Abbey, and 15 minutes from the Chalice Well and White Spring. The Retreat has a private garden located by a brook that is fed by the White Spring. A perfect place to watch wildlife or just rest & relax. The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

It is uncluttered & peaceful, a real home made over to the comfort of guests and stands 50 metres above Glastonbury High Street so quieter than town but Chalice Well, the Abbey & shops are very close or you can walk up the Tor.
