The cabin is a turn of the century Appalachian log home, with all the amenities and conveniences that make life comfortable. We are just off the the main corridor heading in to the Smoky's and surrounding attractions. The cabin sits on a 4 acre knoll on Douglas Lake...this is truly a Mountain and Lake vacation! With 600 miles of shoreline to explore, this cabin is a destination unto itself. This cabin is a living museum to our Appalachian history that remind guests of simpler times and ways.

NOTE: We are 3 min from GSMNP, not 40 min as Airbnb states. Cozy & comfortable, with room for 3 but perfect for 2. Overlooking the Little River and located on the walking/biking trail in town. Less than 1 mile to Great Smoky Mtns. Nat. Park, across the river from Vee Hollow Bike Trails. River access on the property (the steps to the river may be difficult for some.) Need more room?
