Absolutely amazing! We had a beautiful few days at the safari tent - fantastic location - completely secluded, not another soul in sight. Some amazing walks straight from the tent, and lovely evenings spent sat on the veranda. Tent was super cosy with the log burner, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We loved this place! The scenery is beautiful, peaceful and secluded so you very much have the whole place and area around you to yourself. The beds are super comfy and we enjoyed making camp fires in the evening. We used the bbq and pizza ovens which were great for 13 people. There are nice walking trails close by so you can easily go for a hike (which we did one day). There is a lake about 25 minute drive away which was incredible. We were the only ones at the lake and the scenery is breathtaking.

Superb stay. Gorgeous location. Hosts were fantastic and the food was amazing. Recommend the pizza evening that was great fun. The breakfast was above expectation. The children enjoyed the craic and playing with the really friendly dogs. We will be back.

The bell tents were lovely, very spacious with 5 beds inside and lots of lovely touches like tea lights and useful camping things you’d never think to bring. Thanks Nicky and the team for a lovely stay, highly recommended!

We’ve stayed in lots of safari tents over the years but Firs is one of the best sites we’ve visited. The cabin bed and den for smaller kids was superb. The whole place was fantastic and had everything we needed. The area was beautiful with lots to do and shops/pubs/park all within walking distance. Will definitely be visiting again. Simon was a brilliant host and gave us some great recommendations. 10/10

Our stay was nothing short of magical. Exactly the kind of detox we needed—peaceful, calming, and full of those zen vibes we’d been craving. The bathtub? Incredible. We used it all the time. Honestly, we’re not ready to leave and face reality just yet! Perfect for couples, and Louise (our lovely host) has such a beautiful style. The Lotus Belle tent, the cozy interiors, the garden, the honesty shop, shower —every little detail was just so our vibe. Already dreaming about our next visit. Can’t wait to come back!

AMAZING STAY AT TRENOSA! The instructions to get there were very clear. The single track road was a bit daunting but very doable and the tent and especially the views are extremely worth it! The safari tent was definitely luxury camping but lacked some amenities, would definitely recommend bringing your own kitchen cloths, tea towels and handwash/bar soap and any toiletries you need. The hot water, amazing shower and kitchen were all great! The welcome hamper was a lovely touch with local cheeses and local eggs! The beds are super comfortable and we all had amazing sleeps. It can get really chilly at night but the duvets provided were lovely and cosy. The only downside if you're squeamish like we are was the insects, there are lots of spiders and earwigs in the tent but it definitely didn't ruin our stay. The views and privacy are so worth it! Just book this place! You definitely will not be sorry!!

Fabulous stay - we had a great time here with our 2 boys, 9 and 6. The setting is lovely - peaceful and with so many walks out into the woods from your doorstep. We had a great time just chilling and exploring, and enjoying the fire pit with marshmallows in the evening! The tent is well set up, large and comfortable - the heated beds are very much a bonus, and appreciated during a still chilly and slightly wet April! You can keep certain bits of the tent more closed off if needed to keep it warmer. There is a nice lounge area in the middle of the tent, and a dining area next to the kitchenette to sit and have dinner looking out to the woods. The toilet and shower are a small walk down the path and are great to have. We had a lovely time here and would recommend and return. If you visit, be sure to take kindling / fire lighters and marshmallows to max out the campfire experience, and take a walk up to May Hill for the views.

WOW! Absolutely stunning. It was my very first time using an Air B&B and I was quite apprehensive. Nancy was very helpful, very friendly and very informative. It is a beautiful place to stay and very peaceful and very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Nancy was very helpful and the location is perfect. would definitely book again!

What a beautiful set up and location!! Had a lovely, peaceful stay here. Everything was well thought out. The wild swim & sauna was a great experience, we really enjoyed staying here. And the homemade cookies on arrival were delicious!!

We had a lovely stay in the Bell Tent, the facilities were extremely clean and well maintained! The gas bottle was easy to use to heat the shower, and the outdoors bath was great! The tent was spacious and clean with all amenities we could need. Beautiful views and peaceful location which was quiet with minimal noise from traffic. A short walk from the local pub with fields of baby animals en route! Would highly recommend!

Stayed at pete’s bell tent and it was an amazing experience. the place has great character and is only 10 minutes from York city centre. Pete was super friendly and was very proactive. Billy the goat became the highlight of our trip… Thanks Pete

Beautiful well serviced cabin in tranquil spot , all you need for a stay in the area with easy driving and walking access to nearby sites of interest. Surprisingly warm for late October with a luxury feel provided with the outdoor Bath. Great host, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again

On arrival, there was a folder with info & a tablet for us to check in, get the WiFi & helpful links to local POI’s & activities. We also had some tasty treats waiting for us & the lights & radio were on which added to the welcoming ambience. Clean &tidy with blankets, robes and slippers to make yourself cosy. We were supplied with some wood for the burner & more could be purchased from the honesty shop near the entrance. We were supplied with a code to go in whenever we needed to collect more wood or food items. We just had to tick what we’d taken on the sheet & at the end of the stay, had a bill emailed to us. Only thing I’d say we found a little frustrating was that we were told we couldn’t light the burner on the day of departure as it got too hot for the cleaners. But at 6am at the end of October, it was cold! & the electric heaters didn’t kick out enough heat to warm the place up. But this wouldn’t stop me recommending it to others ☺️👍🏼 Thank you for a lovely stay 👍🏼

It is a lovely place for short trip. My doggy has a good sleep. There have enough space for dog play and run. Everything is good 👍🏻 Even October is windy months, it makes me feel like back to home. Nice! Thank you for everything. We really enjoy.☺️

We had a great stay at Little North Field. The accommodation has wooden floors and inner walls but the external walls and roof is canvas. When the temperature drops at night, the tent is kept warm by the wood burner fireplace. There is a weber provided and also a firepit outside. Accommodation comes with everything you need including wood and firelighters, fitted kitchen, tea/coffee/sugar etc, inside bathroom with good shower and comfortable bedding, towels and good furnishings with lots of personal little touches. The kitchen has 2 fast heating plates, but no oven. However, there is a microwave. There are also various outdoor games provided and an excellent flat lawn for children to play. One thing to be aware of depending on your network you might experience low reception (I have EE and it was fine but Vodafone seems to be patchy) and there is no wifi - so we had a very good digital detox for a few days :). There is also no TV which was great and we did not miss it in the slightest. Just bring your suitcase, book, camera, food and good campsite stories! Thanks Catherine and Tim!

Absolutely Perfect First Date Spot! I booked this glamp site for a first date, and wow—what an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how thoughtfully everything was prepared. There was a cool box waiting for us (a total surprise!) and the entire setup had everything we needed and more. We even forgot marshmallows at the shop—classic—but somehow, they were already there waiting for us. That small touch meant a lot, especially to my date, who was honestly glowing the whole time. She absolutely loved it and made the most of every minute. It felt magical, cozy, and way more special than I could’ve planned. Safe to say, we’re already talking about coming back. If you're looking for a place that goes the extra mile, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough.

Beautiful stay at Bluebell Woodland, Becky was great at communicating clear directions and let us know what to expect and where to find things as well as a prints manual in the tent. My 4 year old son and dog loved having an explore around the area (I think my son's favourite was the manual digger area and rolling down the small hill on the trike). The tent was cosy and surprisingly seemed to be pretty clear of spiders and bugs! Will definitely be booking again! Thank you Becky 🤗
