We treat guests to an experience that's quirky and cool, we do not pretend to be a 5-star hotel but have hotel amenities like blackout blinds, unlimited wifi, full kitchen and sound machine. Centrally located on the IL/IN border, 15 minutes to I-74. Minutes from Forest Glen Nature Preserve, Beef House Restaurant, Big Thorn Farm & Brewery, Turkey Run State Park and Midwestern covered bridges.

Covered Bridge Cabin (on Big Walnut Creek)

Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With its raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Mimi's Country Cottage

Quaint, quiet and cozy cottage set in a tranquil park like setting with all the amenities of home. Ten minutes to Shades State Park and twenty minutes to Turkey Run State Park. A great place to stay for the Covered Bridge Festival. 15 minutes to Wabash College, 25 minutes to DePauw University, 45 minutes to Purdue. We live on site and our back door is approximately 600 ft. from from the Airbnb. At this time we do not allow pets. We clean the cottage in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Tastefully decorated unit perfect for a relaxing retreat. Great for couples, travelers, or girlfriend getaways! Ground-floor unit (2-story unit with upstairs available for additional charge, otherwise not rented). Queen bed + sleeper sofa. 55" TV w/Showtime. Massage chair. Internet available but spotty due to rural location. Large private hot tub and firepit surrounded by woods and corn! Firewood provided at no charge. Plus a new sauna when outside temps are above 40°F.

Hideaway Hollow

This is a fully furnished picturesque Amish-built cabin in beautiful and secluded Parke County, Indiana. The cabin comes complete with all amenities including full bath with shower, queen bed, A/C, dish TV, wifi internet and full kitchen. There is a large deck attached with a beautiful view of the swinging bridge and the woods. Cook out on the deck's gas grill and enjoy cool evenings by the fire pit (wood provided). Enjoy a nap in the shade in the hammock.

4 Bedroom Relaxing Country Oasis

This property is a true country oasis, located adjacent to the Forest Glen Preserve. Enjoy a quiet escape into nature.There are 4 bedrooms that each feature a comfortable king bed and 2 newly renovated bathrooms. Please note - this property is located on a gravel road that can have large potholes. Please drive slowly and with caution. No hunting permitted on property. Washer/dryer are available for guest use. They are located in the unfinished basement.

Swans Nest

If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

The Sheriff's Quarters

Nestled in the heart of Rockville, this apartment was once the actual sheriff's quarters, part of the historic county jail. Now, it's been transformed into a cozy and intriguing getaway spot. The Old Jail Inn is your perfect base for exploring or attending local events.

Come fish in our five-acre lake (catch & release only), paddle-boat, kayak, or stroll through the woods. A covered porch and seating lakeside for relaxing. Located close to Mansfield and Bridgeton, 30 minutes from Turkey Run State Park, and only 30 minutes toTerre Haute or Greencastle. Come explore everything Parke County has to offer! KIDS WELCOME!
