Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

And if you’re lucky you might see the red squirrel’s .

Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and other amenities are close by. There are many local walks from the wood and easy access by car to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
