Moonfall Cottage, is in a private country setting close to everything; it's less than 10 min to Gatlinburg strip, 15 min to Pigeon Forge. Walk through the sliding glass doors into a private wooded setting or sit on the patio and commune with nature. Moonfall Cottage is perfect for couples visiting for their honeymoon, and older folks who use a cane or walker. The cottage also has a Murphy bed, so up to four guests can stay at a time. During the colder months, snuggle up and enjoy the fireplace.

It is conveniently located between Douglas Lake and all the attractions in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park.

You'll love our place because of its secluded location in old growth forest, yet it's only 7 minutes from the Newport Walmart and I-40. Come relax & enjoy our charming cottage on the main channel of Douglas Lake. Experience breathtaking sunsets, lakeside bonfires, & refreshing dips in the cool water. Please note, the water level is highest from May-August. This home accommodates 4 adults max & 3 children. The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline. Drought can effect levels as it’s a dam system.

The cottage sits beside a mountain creek which can typically be heard through open windows in the evening, while visiting with friends around the creek side fire ring, or while exploring the short walking trail.
