Just right for visiting famous places i.e. Chatsworth House, Bakewell for a Bakewell pudding, the caves at Castleton, walking/mountain biking on the beautiful moors or just meeting up with friends or relatives. Meadow View is a 19th-Century Terraced Cottage, overlooking the historic village of Rowsley. Rowsley is a small village next to the Chatsworth Estate, which is home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Historic attractions include Caldwell's Mill, Haddon Hall and Peak Rail. Other activities on the doorstep include shops, pubs, restaurants and fishing. Peak Village is a 5 minute walk away and Rowsley is only a 10 min drive from Matlock and Bakewell accessible by a local bus service.

Walk to Chatsworth House (3 miles) across the fields following the River Derwent. Set in 9 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens with wonderful birdlife - but only a few miles from the market town of Bakewell. Plenty of great walks from the house plus all year round indoor heated pool shared with Woodside Cottage - also at the same location.
