Gamul Place Quiet Location Within the City Walls

Situated within an extremely quiet, charming courtyard inside the Roman city walls of Chester. Close to the river this clean character cottage is perfect for a visit to the city being close to the racecourse and a stone's throw from all the main shops, restaurants and bars. Our detached rural cottage is set in beautiful Welsh countryside with wonderful views adjoining the Wales link path. Ideal location for walking, exploring North Wales mountains, the historic city of Chester, Wrexham Football club. Convenient for Chester races or zoo, the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen or the World heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and canal. Fantastic mountain bike trail only 6 miles away. This lovely 3 Gold Star AA Self Catering Georgian Grade II Listed mid terrace property comprises of 3 floors, which faces the River Dee and is less than 10 minutes walk to Chester City Centre. The Grosvenor Park is 30 seconds walk from the rear of the house, which hosts numerous events/concerts in the simmer. It also has a miniature railway for the children to ride on. Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Relax in this calm, stylish space. Sitting beautifully in its picturesque setting, in the grounds of the Old Rectory (occupied by your hosts). A handsome 3 bedroom barn, renovated to the highest standards, a comfortable home for 5 guests and up to two well behaved dogs. Located in a peaceful rural hamlet, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, with country walks and cycles on your doorstep. Only a 20 minute drive from Chester and easily accessible for Manchester and Liverpool.

Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Charming Cottage perfect for Chester & North Wales

A cosy converted semi-detached beamed cottage set within a farmhouse courtyard. The house is surrounded by glorious views of North Wales in a peaceful setting with horses and cows in our paddocks. Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.

Roman Walls cottage is a unique one-bedroom cottage dating back to the 1800's. Located within the historic Roman walls on one of the most notable streets in Chester. The cottage is within walking distance to shops, restaurants/bars as well as to the Story House, Chester market, race course, river and cathedral. The cottage is full of character including low beamed ceilings, narrow spiral staircase and inglenook fireplace offering the perfect stay for two people.
