Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

The Little House

This lovely little house with dedicated parking is located a ten minute walk from the attractive centre of Knutsford with its numerous bars and restaurants, Tatton Park national trust property and Knutsford mainline railway station. Many event venues are within a short distance , as is junction 19 of the M6. Manchester airport is a 25min drive away. Many of our quests have described the little house as ‘sparkling clean, quirky, comfortable and well designed’.

The perfect country retreat in Cheshire, situated in a stunning rural location, within 100m of the Llangollen canal, with the market towns of Nantwich, Whitchurch and Tarporley in close proximity. An abundance of excellent gastro pubs await –whether for dining or just popping in for a beer during a walk along the famous Sandstone Trail, the canal or one of the many trails. Fabulous countryside views, patio with own mature garden area plus private parking.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.

Nestling against Hope mountain & surrounded by trees the apartment feels like a tree house. The garden is visited by many birds. Depending on time of year you will hear woodpeckers, owls and buzzards as well as the general song of smaller birds. Ample off street parking right by the apartment door.
