The Old Post Office is the best of both worlds, an idyllic cottage feel but only 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk from Chester city centre, the train station and the racecourse. 4 good size bedrooms with 5 beds, 1 king, 2 doubles and 2 singles, lounge with open fire, dining room. Bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower, a second WC and shower room on the ground floor, a well equipped kitchen with dining area and a delightful south facing garden with a hot tub, there is plenty of room.

Luxury barn conversion attached to our house. Situated close to the A494 for easy access to Snowdonia National Park but set in an acre of gardens surrounded by open countryside . There is a hot tub and outdoor shower with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, fire pit and pellet pizza oven. Underfloor heating throughout. Bedrooms have smart tv and 4g WiFi. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.
