Our luxury Shepherd hut is nestled in its own private walled garden. Once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back, unwind in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! Be surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches. Why not take a dip in our natural lake!

The cabin is your home from home, either cosying up by the log burner on a cold night or sat with a glass of wine, looking out across the pond to the wood. Our guests say "you could be anywhere in the world" it's that unique.

Alton Towers theme park is half an hour away. A fully equipped kitchen, dining table and chairs for 10 people, large sitting room with log burner and bifold doors out to a private garden. Full bathroom upstairs, family shower room downstairs. Games room.

Set in the countryside, Poynton's shops and amenities are 2.5 miles away, and Manchester Airport, Trafford Centre, Buxton, and the Derbyshire Dales are a 30-minute drive. Additional camping space is available for extra guests.

Beautiful secluded romantic lake house retreat

Located right on the water's edge of Rudyard Lake in a conservation area of the Staffordshire Moorlands, this bespoke boathouse conversion is an ideal romantic break for 2 in a very beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by woodland with perfect views up and down the lake. Although we can accommodate 4 in total, Inglenook boathouse is most suited for couples. The sofa bed is comfortable for up to two children but not suitable for two adults.
