No NC occupancy tax on your stay. Everything you need is on the ground floor: a bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, and a dining room with windows looking out at the trees. Upstairs has two more bedrooms, bathroom, and office area. The front deck faces the mountains for relaxing evenings under the string lights.

my home is a small, cozy 2 bedroom house. it's a place to relax and recharge. you are far enough away from town but close enough to reach town in minutes. you have Internet and dish satellite TV or you can set outside by the fire pit and listen to the small creek. spring and summer brings plenty of flowers, birds, and blooming trees. fall time has the autumn colors. my place is meant for family reconnect and spend time together. the home doesn't have any steps and has a walk in shower.

Tarhelia Falls

Featuring your own private waterfall and river front is Tarhelia Falls surrounded by 2 1/2 acres. This traditional home located in scenic western NC offers peace and tranquility. AWD drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended, to best drive up the gravel road. If you do not have 4 wheel drive I can give you tips to make it up the driveway. Please adhere to the 10 mph speed limit on the gravel road accessing the property. Other owners walk their pets at various times of the day.
