The accommodation comprises a large sitting room, wood burning stove, king size bedroom with TV and large ensuite bathroom, with a bath and shower, private terrace overlooking the valley. No kitchen. A pretty detached historic 3 bedroom flint cottage up a private drive with a wood burner, delightful private garden, terrace, summer house and deck area overlooking a pond full of wildlife. Set in an AONB it is walking distance to the charming village of Thorncombe with a great community run shop and playground. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, plenty of wildlife and no light pollution, so amazing night skies, with the Jurassic coast and plenty of historic houses close by to explore.

Otter Rise is the perfect rural retreat for extended families, a romantic escape for couples or for families with children. We are sorry but we are not able to accommodate work groups. There is a cosy log burner in the lounge, underfloor heating in all rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and utility room, a family bathroom and two very comfortable bedrooms one has a double bed and en-suite shower room, the other has two single beds which can easily convert to a king size bed.
