I chose Anna's place based on the reviews, and wasn't disappointed. It's clean, comfortable and set in a peaceful place. It's a 20 min walk to Sami along the front walkway, which is well lit at night and felt safe at all times. There are 2 restaurants locally and a fab bakery, but for a supermarket you need to go into Sami. The cave is 10 mins walk away and the local beach is a short walk and you can also use the local hotel's beach sunbeds for a fee. Anna's daughter helps manage the place and was very good at communicating and gave helpful advice for transfers etc. I'd recommend staying at Ana's.

Zalige plaats! Groot terras, vlotte communicatie, lieve mensen en ook een schattige huiskat. We raden deze plek zeker aan om helemaal te ontspannen. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid!

Great stay and was greeted upon arrival. Panos was very responsive and accommodated my last minute booking due to a flight cancellation.

Excelente departamento! Tiene todo lo necesario para la estadía (Lavarropas, tender, broches, toallas, etc). Es muy cómodo para 2 personas (el sofá cama donde durmió nuestro hijo no era muy cómodo, pero la cama matrimonial de la habitación era perfecta). Dos balcones, muy amplio y luminoso. Irene nos espero con cápsulas de café, cookies, un vino, dulces. Fue muy flexible con el horario de check in, respondió siempre rápidamente y nos dio buenas recomendaciones. La zona es una buena ubicación para conocer y recorrer la isla, aunque algunos días no fue fácil encontrar lugar para estacionar nuestro auto. Estuvimos más que satisfechos y recomendamos totalmente el alojamiento!!

One of the best Airbnb experience I've ever had: the house was lovely, very clean, with everything you need to cook and eat, a washing machine and a/c. The host was super kind, she offered us wine, fruit, jam, chips and water when we arrived and she also cleaned the whole place mid-through out stay, changing sheets and towels as well. Plenty of parking space on the street and amazing beaches nearby. We felt at home. Thank you!

Wir waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es gibt alles was man benötigt in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft ist etwa 10 Minuten von der XI Beach entfernt, man benötigt ein Auto, wenn man dort wohnt. Das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft .

This is can't miss spot. The space is amazing and Dimitrios was a fantastic host. This Airbnb is almost a hotel with cleaning every few days which was a perk. Aside from the location being a great jumping off point for exploring the island, Dimitrios has great tips and suggestions and is always available to help. Hopefully we can get back soon.

Fantastic host. Any queries he was willing to help and gave all the information we needed before arrival! Lovely apartment which is close to the harbour so good for evening entertainment. Would recommend staying here for sure. Will defo be back

This is a wonderful place. The host Vaso & Vasilis live on site and are the most wonderful hosts. The place is spotless and in a great location. Vaso gave us some Kefalonia meat pie which was delicious and Vasilis helped get the BBQ going for me. Every time we met Vasilis he would have a beer for us! The studio is in a great location, 5 mins walk to nearest restaurant up the hill with lots of others nearby. There is an amazing beach within a 10-15min walk down the hill. We certainly plan to return. Highly recommended.

great view, beautiful garden with BBQ, private parking, air-conditioning in all rooms (though we never used them cause it always had a nice breeze). Dionysis was a great host and the place overlooks the bay, and it's 5mins from Argostoli town.

Lovely place that 4 of us stayed in. Perfect location for the main Sami beach with easy access to the main town. Host was very friendly and helpful, couldn’t ask for anything better!

Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom vert som svarte raskt på henvendelser. Vi møtte også hans søster som var veldig imøtekommende. Koselig balkong med utsikt og god air-condition som fungerte veldig bra. Fint med myggnett foran balkongdør. Leiligheten ligger i sentrum av Argostoli, så det er nærhet til alt du trenger i byen.

Schöne, saubere und schick eingerichtete Wohnung in sehr ruhiger Lage. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt vor der Tür. Der Sonnenaufgang und das Meer ist vom Ost-Balkon herrlich anzusehen. Poros ist zudem toll gelegen um die Insel mit dem Auto zu erkunden und durch den Hafen besteht auch die Möglichkeit auf die angrenzenden Inseln zu kommen. Empfehlenswert!

Panos was a great host, always responsive to questions even waited to check us in when our flight was delayed! Apartment is a great size not too far from the sea front……. a great base to explore Kefalonia.

Marina was extremely friendly and helpful. Even before we arrived she organised a rental car for us and kept us informed of check in information. She brought us a local breakfast on the first day which was lovely. The apartment as well equipped and clean. The pool area was perfect. The villa is a great place to fly and flop if you are looking for that kind of holiday, but it’s also a great base for exploring the island and travelling about. The village and beach is walking distance (although the hill can be a bit tough on the calves!) and the restaurants and bars in the village are very reasonably priced and friendly. Overall a perfect holiday and I’d definitely go back.

This was the perfect location to explore the island of Kefalonia from. The accommodations were spacious, clean and both decks had fabulous views of the sea. It is located in a quite location with comfortable beds and it was stocked with all the necessities we required. The host was easy to communicate with and very punctual in filling any requests. Mrs. Sophia was lovely and kept the unit very clean for us.

Lovely quiet position close to the beach with a clean pool. Evgenia was really helpful with a couple of requests for assistance.

Marianne's place was utterly delightful, a calm, peaceful oasis whilst not being isolated. The apartment was clean, tidy and had all of the amenities we needed. It is located in a block of serviced apartments but it doesn't feel overlooked or crowded. The beach opposite has a narrow shingle beach and has crystal clear, calm water and it was lovely to spend some time there. It is also not far from Antisamos beach and we also went to Myrtos beach a couple of times. We ate out in Sami, where there are lots of restaurants along the waters edge and is around a 5 minute drive but I believe you can also walk along the beach to get there. Litsa gave us loads of helpful advice & tips on where to visit and places to eat. Kefalonia is a stunning island and we would absolutely love to stay there again.

Stunning location with beautiful views and lovely host. A place to really chill, relax and unwind. You need to have a car which we didn’t realise till we arrived and Stella happily recommended someone. There are only one cafe and one restaurant in the nearest village and everything else you have to drive to-even for basic foods. Throughly recommend Stella’s place as the most relaxing holiday ever!

Joy and the team were an absolute delight to deal with and the Villa was always spotlessly clean. The breakfast as others have put was amazing, nothing felt like too much trouble and all the recommendations we were given were spot on. We had a fantastic week there and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Joy, thank you from us both. The service and stay were impeccable. Highly recommend.
