Our old fisherman's cottage has been in the family for over 400 years. It backs onto the beach, has uninterrupted views out to sea and the waves lapping against the back of the house at high tide. It's an old cottage and therefore has some quirks such as every floor being on a different level! As such, it's not suitable for children or those with mobility issues. We keep rooms in the lower basement area but a separate entrance ensures no disturbance. Guests cannot use the Rayburn or wood fire.

This beautiful and unique beachside cottage could not be any closer to the sea, you can sit with your morning coffee and have a chat with the swimmers out of the window! Little Islet has panoramic sea views across Plymouth Sound, and is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday by the beach. This house was previously used as the green room for the movie 'Mr Turner', whilst also serving as a residence for lead actor Timothy Spall! We recommend 4 adults & 2 children, or maximum 6 adults.

We are only two miles from Mount Edgcumbe and a mile from the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. We are three minutes walk from the coast path. This space is ideal for couples looking for a quite getaway. Cawsand and the local area has lots to explore. Dogs are welcome too.
