Pretty cottage in centre of town next to the Lakes

The Cottage is a Grade 2* listed building fully restored in 2019 which has been modernised for comfort and carefully maintained. It is situated in the centre of the pretty historic market town of Penrith within easy walking reach of several good restaurants. Penrith is in the centre of Cumbria, with the Lake District on the doorstep. There is a pretty south-facing cottage garden full of flowers in the front - with a patio sitting area. There is private designated parking and visitor parking.

Weavers Cottage, Hartsop-stunning location

Weavers Cottage is a detached 17th century stone built barn at the head of the Ullswater valley in the central Lakes. The views are stunning with panoramic views of lakeland fells and over Brotherswater. The place is pet friendly and perfect for guests who love the outdoors. Classic walks straight from the door and secure storage available for mountain bikes and canoes. After a day in the fells, toast your toes by the wood burning stove or enjoy the sunshine in the private south facing garden.

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

A two-bedroom house located in central Penrith, with easy access to the Lake District & Eden valley.The property has designated private parking for one car. Convenient for walking, biking, outdoor activities & many local attractions.This homely,clean & tidy property is only 15 minutes from Ullswater. Penrith has a range of amenities from a cinema, restaurants, pubs, leisure centre & great independent shops. Penrith just off the M6 & on the west coast mainline (Penrith, North Lakes).

Handy for Lake District, detached property

Easily reached from M6, 15 minutes drive to Keswick, Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. The Lodge is a detached recently converted building. Splendid views from large shared garden to Lakeland Fells. Perfect for a relaxing break, en-suite bedroom with king size bed and fully equipped kitchen and living area. Lovely pubs in nearby villages, closest is a 12 min walk. Many outdoor activities available locally, Helvellyn and Blencathra nearby. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Your dog is welcome.

Welcome to Carleton House. Spacious Victorian house with a large L shaped kitchen, separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, ground floor wc, separate dining room, spacious lounge & 4 double bedrooms, (2 are en suite) 3 bathrooms. 5 wc's. Fabulous location in the village of Clifton. 5.5 miles & 12 minutes drive to Pooley Bridge & the shores of Ullswater. Superb views from the terrace & garden across. Skalgard wood burning hot tub included.

Big Lake District house in Caldbeck (Keswick area)

Calva is a spacious family home at the foot of the Northern Fells in the cosy village of Caldbeck, situated directly on the Cumbria Way. The house sleeps 8 people in king, queen, double and 2 single beds with room for an additional 2 on sofa beds at an additional charge per head. The village plays host to a wealth of locally run amenities with a small shop, petrol station, cafes and a classic pub for a meal with locally brewed ale.

The Byre - cottage in converted barn nr Ullswater

Ideal for couples and young families. Completed in 2020, The Byre is one of 3 cottages in our old stone barn near Ullswater in the Lake District. Thornythwaite Farm is in Matterdale which is a peaceful valley off the beaten track but with great access to all the popular areas of the Lakes. There are plenty of walks from the door and a good pub, The Royal, is just a short stroll down the road.

Town house in Penrith, Cumbria Two double rooms

A newly refurbished cottage in the heart of this vibrant market town with accommodation on 3 floors comprising 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room/diner. All the shops, bars and restaurants are a short walk, as is the station, yet we are set in the heart of the beautiful Eden Valley and with easy access to the the Lakeland fells around Ullswater, just under 5 miles.
