With own driveway (1 car) and shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants all located within a short walk, this is a great base from which to explore the Peaks.

Bridge Cottage is a stone built cottage situated a few metres from the Peakshole Water in the delightful village of Castleton, and is just a short walk to the centre of the village with many local pubs and shops. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area, or visiting the show caves situated near the cottage.

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Cave End Cottage is over 300 years old and is our much loved second home. Many original features remain including wobbly walls, wooden beams and a beautiful, large fireplace. It's perfectly located in Castleton at the bottom of Cavedale, a picturesque valley below Peveril Castle. Its central location in the village means it's close to all attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants. Equipped to accommodate all your needs the property's also on a dead-end so there's no passing traffic.

Trickett Gate House - Gorgeous 3 bed cottage

Beautiful "Trickett Gate House" is a 3 bed cottage located in the village of Castleton in the heart of the Peak District. Tastefully decorated and suitable for 6 people. This is for the entire cottage with parking for 2 vehicles only. Located on the edge of the village with River Peakshole running at the back of the cottage garden but within 5 minutes walking distance of seven pubs, restaurants and shops. . The back of cottage takes you to the Mam Tor and Edale, perfectly located.

Our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old. It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. The ground floor of our long cottage is a completely self-contained holiday let, lovingly restored it retains many of the original features - wooden beams, curvy walls and a log burner in a huge fire place. Views from the front of the cottage show you the incredible walking, running, biking and paragliding to be had from the doorstep. Castleton has it all, pubs, cafes and caves! Our quiet location out of the busy hub gives you the best of both worlds
