A charming Tuscan retreat

Villa Pianelli is a traditional farmhouse dating from the 1500's and consists of 2 structures. The main house where I live, always available to ensure your stay runs smoothly and the Garden apartment. Both are completely independant with separate entrances. The Garden apartment is composed of 5 rooms on ground level, the interiors have retained the Tuscan characteristics with brick ceilings and chestnut beams and terracotta floors. There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 lounge with a wood burning stove and open plan kitchen - dining area. The kitchen is equipped with fridge,oven and ceramic hob. From the lounge you access the spa room with sauna and from there onto a terraced garden complete with b.b.q. The swimming pool is 8mx16m and is open May through September, furnished with sun loungers,a b.b.q area and a large covered pergola with dining tables and chairs. Villa Pianelli is secluded in a quiet corner of the Tuscan countryside, nestled in the hills of Arezzo, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and oak forests.We can offer our guests a dimension of peace and quiet whilst ensuring various possibilities of entertainment in wineries, restaurants,shopping etc just a few kilometres away in Arezzo. Please note that the house has two bedrooms but if the booking is for two people only one bedroom will be provided.If required there is an additional cost of 50 euro per night for the second bedroom.

Casa situata sulla collina cortonese, completamente ristrutturata, costituita da 3 camere matrimoniali, 2 bagni e openspace cucina e sala da pranzo. Si trova a 5 minuti dal centro storico di Cortona e in ottima posizione per raggiungere le più belle e caratteristiche località della Toscana e Umbria come Pienza, Montepulciano, Castiglione del Lago fino a città culle dell'arte come Firenze, Arezzo,Siena e Perugia. Obbligatoria tassa di soggiorno da pagare in loco (2,50 euro a persona per 4 giorni)

Separate room, between Cortona and Montepulciano

We are a small farm with a family-run farm on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. The old farmhouse in which we live with our children are surrounded by vineyards and olive groves with a splendid view of Montepulciano. We can sleep in 2 apartments and / or 1 independent room furnished with poor art and originality. In the large garden, available to all, there are two pools (one for children), games, organic vegetable garden. We have a restaurant Pierpaolo cooking the typical Tuscan dishes.

"IL PODERACCIO" è un tipico casolare in pietra posto sulle colline che circondano il Lago Trasimeno immerso in una stupenda macchia mediterranea. Il fabbricato si sviluppa su due piani. La piscina ed il giardino fanno da cornice al tutto. Apertura Piscina dal 1 Maggio al 1 5 Ottobre. Si fa presente che in seguito alla emergenza COVID 19 per la pulizia e la sanificazione della casa sono state adottate tutte le direttive previste dalla normativa in merito.

1 bedroom cottage located on the property of Casa San Gabriel, set in the stunning Umbrian countryside, it has access to the large gardens and swimming pool. The cottage is a full self catering studio cottage with 1 double or twin bed and air-conditioning.

La Pieve - the house next to the church

To the right of the Argenina church, after which it is named, it has the persuasive look of its 2 small arches facing west. Perhaps it was once the parish priest's house, or the one where cooking was done in the large wood-burning oven, who knows?
