Whether you are after a relaxing break away, or an action packed outdoor adventure, Calon y Bannau is the perfect place for your stay.

St Mark's School

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Little Pudding Cottage

Little Pudding Cottage 's Welsh name is Pontbren-Ddu and is a beautiful example of a country hideaway. Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. The accommodation is full of character and original charm, while maintaining the modern comforts of home. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

A spacious home from home in beautiful mid Wales

Brook View is a spacious, two bedroom, purpose built holiday home just off the A470 in Builth Wells. The bungalow is minutes away from the town centre on foot with easy access to the Royal Welsh Showground. With tasteful decoration and plentiful amenities the property really does feel like home from home. It's the ideal base for enjoying nearby beauty spots (being roughly half way between the Brecon Beacons National Park & the Elan Valley). A maximum of 2 small dogs would be very welcome.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Freesat T.V and Wifi If you wish to stay connected to the outside world or peace and quiet if not.

Large private double bedroom, with king size bed, ensuite with shower cubicle. The property is adjacent to the Wye Valley walk and approx 2 miles from Builth Wells. The bedroom is in a converted barn with its own access. Ideally located for walkers and easy access to the Royal Show Ground. Please note that the access to the house is via a fairly steep and narrow lane (last section is a track with loose gravel), not suitable for HGVs. We now provide super fast internet!!

Brodawel Bach is a self-contained apartment on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Builth Wells. It has a double bedroom, open plan kitchen/ living room, bathroom, and off street parking. Perfect for visitors wishing to attend events at the Royal Welsh Showground which is 1 mile away.

Ty Coeden, tree top glamping

Ty Coeden sleeps up to 6 There is a kitchenette and dinning table with all the tableware and utensils supplied. There is also a T.V. and D.V.D player and electric heating throughout. Ty Coeden has is own private deck and BBQ area and compost toilet. You still get the glamping feel staying in Ty Coeden with water collection and showers to be had from the hub which is just a short walk away along with the communal BBQ area and pizza oven, fire pits and games room.

Irfon Lodge - No. 49 - Caer Beris (pets allowed)

Irfon lodge is a hideaway waiting to be discovered. Located just outside the picturesque town of Builth Wells in Powys. Our lodge is set in 34 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds set on the banks of the river Irfon. Surrounded by stunning welsh countyside, Caer Beris park guarantees total relaxation. A lodge on a holiday park offering few distractions... just peace and quiet that feels like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of normal daily life.

Irfon Cottage, Penrheol Farm

Irfon cottage sleeps two guests with its cosy open plan layout. The bedroom has a super king bed which can also be arranged as twin beds by request. The bathroom has a shower. The fitted kitchen is well equipped with the living area comfortably furnished. You are welcome to bring up to one dog please include this on booking, we ask that pets are not allowed in the bedroom and if they do go on the sofa, blankets are provided. There is an EV charger.

Afon Lodge is a cosy, well equipped self catering timber cabin sleeping up to 5 people, situated in the peaceful and well cared for 34-acre grounds of the Caer Beris Holiday Park, just outside the town of Builth Wells in the beautiful and unspoilt countryside of Mid Wales. The park is a haven for peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings, the perfect ‘get away from it all’ location.

Saddleback Bungalow, Ddole Farm

Set in amongst the Mid Wales Hills, this delightful, warm and comfortable Bungalow sits beneath a hill tucked out of the way but has easy access to the road. Saddleback Bungalow is on the grounds of a working farm and is surrounded with the most stunning walks either straight from the front door or a short drive away, then on your return why not cuddle up in front of the log burner.
